CHAPTER 1
PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS TO
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
DRESS CODE 1-6
COLORVISION employees are in public contact positions and, therefore, should dress in a
professional, conservative, well-groomed manner that represents our Company image. The
following is Colorvisions dress code, however, the landlordsdress code may differ and may
possibly be supplied by the landlord wardrobe for your store. (Check with your manager for the
proper dress code for your location).
Uniforms- may vary according to location. You are always expected to have your uniform clean,
pressed and looking professional. Do not wear jean type, stirrup or corduroy trousers, or wear rolled
up cuffs. Uniforms are only to be worn during your working hours except for on your way to work
or going home. At most Colorvision locations uniforms must be covered up with a jacket or sweaterwhile on break. Check with your manager for the policy at your store.
Hair -Should be well groomed. Womenwith hair longer than shoulder length should wear it pulled
back to keep it from falling in your face while you are working.Menshould be clean shaven (neatly
trimmed mustaches and goatees are acceptable in most locations) and wear their hair no longer than
collar length. No bizarre hair styles or colors will be accepted.
Jewelry- Should be small and in good taste. Small rings, including class rings, wedding bands and
engagement rings are acceptable, with only one ring per hand, except two-ring wedding sets.
Womenmay wear earrings no larger than a quarter and only one earring per ear. Menare not
permitted to wear earrings at work. No visible body piercing, including nose and tongue rings, isaccepted by either gender except as stated above.
Fingernails-Should be well groomed. Women should keep their fingernails to a reasonable length
and may wear clear polish or a French manicure.
Tattoos- Visible tattoos are not acceptable on men or women.

Name badges are an important part of our wardrobe and contribute to the friendliness ofCOLORVISION. Wearing a name badge identifies you to our customers as an employee and
provides an additional element of service. Your first badge will be given to you. Name badges are
to be worn on the left front side of your shirt. If you forget your badge, you will be sent home to get
it. NEVER wear any badge but your own. You will be charged for any lost name tag after the first
one.

agency or Alliance Abroad Group (AAG) before you sign these terms and conditions. Claiming you were not aware of this requirementwill not release you of your responsibilities.
Student Agreement
I understand that I must live at the AAG-provided housing for the duration of my program and that I am not permitted to live at any
other location unless given approval by AAG.I understand that there may be multiple housing locations provided and that AAG will assign me to a specific housing facility at least
two weeks prior to my program start date.I understand that housing facility costs and amenities may vary between multiple properties and regions.I understand that due to leasing availability in the USA, my housing assignment is subject to change at any time.
I understand that AAG will attempt to honor roommate assignment request but honoring the request is not guaranteed.I understand that I need to bring $1,000.00 USD for the start of my program.
I understand that the AAG-provided housing paired with this position has been approved by both AAG and the Employer for mysafety and convenience and if I do not agree to live at the AAG-provided housing I should choose a different position.
I understand my housing and transportation costs will be deducted from my paycheck each pay period and that i t is my responsibilityto check this on each paycheck/paystub.
I understand that if I work fewer than my minimum hours due to illness or a request for time off, that the deductions will be reduced fothat week but will be increased in the weeks following until the unpaid balance has been paid.
I understand that if I check into housing after the latest arrival date on my job offer, I am still responsible for housing costs from the
latest arrival date listed on my job offer.I understand the breakdown of the costs associated with the housing as outlined in my job offer. I understand that my housingdeposit and any other associated costs (i.e. advanced rent payments) will be paid to my agency prior to departure.
I understand that I will forfeit my housing deposit and any unpaid expenses if I depart prior to my earliest job offer end date.
I understand that my deposit and advanced rent will be fully refunded as long as notification of visa denial is received at least 14days prior to the latest program start date.I understand that if I cancel the program due to reasons other than a visa denial with less than 14 days before the latest programstart date, I will be issued no refund of my housing deposit or advanced rent unless AAG is able to find a replacement participant, in
which case my full housing deposit and advanced rent will be refunded.
I understand that living expenses (housing costs, deposits, etc.) are subject to change at any time. If they do change, AAG will notifyme or my agency in writing as soon as possible.
I understand that I am financially responsible for any damages that may occur to my housing (including pest treatments), or anyexcessive utility charges that may be incurred. In addition, if I am sharing housing with other participants and there are damages or
excessive utilities, I will be responsible for sharing equal cost of these charges.I understand that I must adhere to the rules and regulations of my assigned housing facility and other service providers.
I understand that if I have any concerns or questions regarding my housing, I should discuss them immediately with my home agencyprior to departure or with my AAG Outreach Coordinator once in the U.S.

Position Summary: The sales associate is responsible for generating fun, excitement and humor whileproviding sales and service to guests and customers with works within the philosophy that making money can be fun

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
1. Sales and Customer Service
a. Entice customers/guests into the store and to buy products.b. Show customers/guests all available products.
c. Help customers/guests select products to purchase.
d. Collect payments for purchases, following company procedures for checks and credit card
authorizations.
e. Work effectively with more than one customer at a time.
f. Resolve customer problems with tact and diplomacy.
g. Assist customers/guests with refunds and/or exchanges using tact and diplomacy and following
company procedures.
2. Picture-taking
a. Take picture using proper techniques and methods.
b. Process picture correctly.
c. Process pictures with heat pressing (certain stores only)
3. Operations
a. Maintain attractive, clean store and personal appearance.

c. Open and close register as assigned.
d. Follow proper record keeping and cash handling procedures.
e. Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

Environmental Demands: Work is performed in small, confined space. Indoor stores are in temperaturecontrolled environments that are frequently noisy. Outdoor stores are subject to extremes of heat, sunlight, cold
