Their urban escape begins with a leisurely paddle to the beautiful Toronto Islands in a heritage voyager Canoe, a replica of those used by early Canadian settlers. Explore Toronto’s Bird Sanctuary and paddle past beautiful sailboats and yacht clubs, while you learn about the natural geography and evolution of the area.

Upon arrival, explore the Islands while Culinary Adventure Co. unveils a special Canada 150 dining experience, inspired by local artisans and ingredients, prepared by the culinary team at TOCA.

Enjoy the fall colours and discover the joys of foraging as we explore the Don Valley in search of wild mushrooms and edible plants. Toronto’s lush park system is designated one of the best urban forage landscapes in North America. Our expert Foraging Guides will share many years of knowledge and point out interesting plants and woodland animals as we hunt for these gourmet treasures.

Our 2+ hour walk/hike will culminate with an incredible harvest picnic created onsite by TOCA’s culinary team.
