We are often grouped with schools and day care centers. Sometimes the centers are open, but transportation does not run due to road conditions. You can find those updates and additional information on our Facebook pages. You can also call your center. Along with nasty weather, winter can also bring nasty colds and flu. If you have a fever, please do not come in. We ask that you call off as soon as you know you cannot come in. And don’t forget – you are more than welcome to make up your missed day. Just let Maureen or Joni know what day you’d like to attend instead. And as always, we encourage you to be safe as you go outside in the snow and ice. Wear boots, walk slowly, hold onto handrails or another person. Watch for wet spots on floors indoors. Crock Pot White Chicken Chili Perfect for the big game day! Ingredients: 1 ¼ lb. boneless skinless chicken 2-15 oz. cans Great Northern beans 1-15 oz. can white or yellow corn 1 envelope taco seasoning 1-4.5 oz. can chopped green chilies 1-10 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup 1-14 oz. can chicken broth ½ cup sour cream Shredded Monterey Jack cheese (optional) Chopped green onion (optional) Place chicken in a 4-quart slow cooker and top with beans and corn. In a medium bowl, combine taco seasoning, chilies, condensed soup and chicken broth. Stir and pour over ingredients in the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Before serving, stir gently to break up the chicken and stir in the sour cream. Serve topped with green onions and jack cheese, if desired. Crock Pot White Chicken Chili Perfect for the big game day!
