EVERY FRIDAY FROM 26 JULY THROUGH 30 AUGUSTThe idyllic nature preserve of Achstürze-Piburger See was formed by a huge rockslide at the end of the Ice Ages. Boredom is literally unknown here: dis-cover nature with all senses and enjoy a wonderful day out. This hike makes a very special attraction for families and children.

EVERY THURSDAY FROM 20 JUNE THROUGH 26 SEPTEMBERFrom Kühtai you hike across the sparse forest up to the Finstertal water reservoir. This giant man-made lake resembles a high Alpine sea. Follow the steeply rising path up to Finstertaler Scharte ridge. Stunning view of the Ötztal with Wildspitze peak in the backdrop. Along Horlachtal valley you walk down to the gentle landscapes of Niederthai.
