18th Annual Oklahoma Oil & Gas Expo Coming to State FairgroundsExpo is the state’s largest and longest running expo of its kind
OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 25, 2014 – Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry will host the 18th annual Oklahoma Oil & Gas Expo one week from today at the State Fairgrounds. This one-day event is the largest oil and natural gas expo in Oklahoma, and the only one hosted locally by Oklahomans, for the industry.
The goal of this event is to bring together the ideas, innovations and people who will shape the future of the industry. The event allows attendees to make contacts, secure agreements and share techniques that will make production safer and more efficient than ever. The Expo is organized and hosted by the Committee for Sustaining Oklahoma's Energy Resources, or SOER, which was previously the Marginal Well Commission,
Around 3,600 participants are expected to attend, including 250 exhibitors from around the U.S. The event has been so popular, that this year it expanded into a second building to allow for additional exhibit space.
