It is that time of year again, changing weather means that illness spreads like wildfire. Protect yourself and take advantage of Student Health Services! Student Health Services is open from 8:00am to 10:45am and 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, while classes are in session. Student Health Services is located on the first floor family practice area of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Students may show up to see a doctor without an appointment, but an appointment is highly recommended to avoid potentially lengthy wait times. Transportation is provided to students to the Student Health facilities free of charge by Cabell Huntington Hospital shuttle. It picks students up at 9:00am and 1:00pm on the 5th Avenue entrance to the Memorial Student Center (MSC). For the re-turn to campus, you can be picked up at the Student Health entrance at 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Towers East Programs
Thanks to all who attended a program during the month of September! September programs were held to educate residents about substance responsibility, volunteering, and getting involved on campus. Al-though these topics may have been familiar, we hope that you enjoyed yourselves and learned some-thing new. October programs will be about Technology, Developing Your Marshall Network, and Re-sponsible Lifestyles. These programs will include fun activities—you may even be invited to star in a commercial with your roommate about the benefits of living in the residence halls! Want to learn about healthy snacks and meet some cool professors? Ask RAs Cassidy and Abigail about their Responsible
Lifestyles program! Do you love Hallow-een? Then talk to Kaitlyn Spees about how you can help decorate! Be sure to check with your RA for upcoming events and be on the lookout for program advertise-ments! Don’t miss out!
