Lemon Tree Hotels win the HICAP Sustainable Hotel Award 2015

Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, , is a prominent Indian playback singer who has crooned numerous hits for Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. He stayed at the Lemon Tree Hotel Gachibowli. He got his Bollywood break with "Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil" from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). He has also won prestigious National Award for 'Tu Aashiqui Hai' from movie Jhankar Beats in 2004.

Arvind Kejriwal, Indian politician and social activist who has been the Chief Minister of Delhi,visited LTEDM in October. Kejriwal is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT,Kharagpur, and worked for the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) as a Joint Commissioner in the Income Tax Department before he launched the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012

The star cast of Hate Story 3 stayed at LTPHY1 during their promotional tour for the film. Karan Singh Grover, Zarine Khan and Sharman Joshi indulged with the employees during their one day trip.

From LTPHY1 Files The excessive wastage of chopstick covers made Pratap go a step ahead and collect the covers. He sensitized KST staffs while disposing leftovers. Within 15 days he collected 257 chopstick covers for reuse and also post this, the F&B staff in the restaurant became conscious of any wastage . Pratap not only has shown dedication towards his job but also found a way around cost saving for the hotel. Way to go !!

From LTPHY1 Files When LTHGB faced shortage of staff , Bhaskar extended his support and duties to the team. He did morning shift at LTHGB and then later continued his shift at LTPHY1 finely managing both his responsibilities. He took over extended shifts so as to not cause his fellow co workers any trouble. You make us proud !!

suddenly increased in an event, the team started filing more chairs into the banquet hall so as to accommodate more people. Mohit who was taking care of the housekeeping in the hotel observed the situation and immediately rushed to help. He not only helped with the arrangements but also helped the F&B team to cater to the large number of guests. The event was a huge success in terms of revenue and feedback. Kudos to you !!

From RFHHY Files Shaik was assigned to take care of the public area and assist the F&B staff at Clever Fox Café during breakfast. However, when he noticed the sudden pressure of work on the In Room Dining staff, He immediately rushed to their rescue and helped them timely deliver the orders. We are proud of you !!

National Security Guards organized a simulated mock drill in LTPDL1 . In wake of the recent attacks, it is essential we keep our environment safe. Hence, keeping in mind the severity of the situations the management was an active art of the drill

LTPDL1 and RFHDL celebrated Thanksgiving day in the al fresco area. People from Sarthak, a NGO, showcased a play for the management team of the hotels and were also gifted wheelchairs, blind sticks and hearing aids from the hotel.

LTPHY1 organised a cake mixing ceremony on 28 October. The ceremony involved mixing the cake on a 100 ft long table with free flow of ingredients. Both the hotel management and the guests were a part of the session. The ceremony with such mass participation was a huge success.

LTHAR, LTEDM and LTHIN celebrated their birthdays with great fun and frolic. The management and guests were an active part of celebrations. The hotels also took part in spreading smiles and sharing their joy with the underprivileged.

LTPHY1 conducted the FEP for F&B and Food Production Teams throughout Lemon Tree

Hotels. The program was honored by a workshop from Hyderabad cuisine legend

Nawab Mehboob Alam Khan. The three day festivities ended not only motivated the

teams but also added a lot of new techniques to their style of cooking.
