Hey Division 20,

I hope all of you are safe after all of the damage that HurricaneSandy has caused. Most of you are probably without power atthe moment and I hope that everything will be restored back tonormal soon. Being that most of us are off from school and leftwithout power, look at the bright side: you have even moretime to prepare your very own Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box!

In addition, this newsletter will also cover topics including pay-ing dues, registering members, the advocacy bracelets, and ofcourse, a recap of our NJ District Fall Rally!

Let me know if any of you have any questions, comments, orconcerns because I’d be more than happy to assist you.

Yours in Caring and Service,Rocky Trifari

Fall Rally Recap

Special thanks to all of you who took the time to

attend Fall Rally, the largest gathering of Key

Clubber in New Jersey, this year! It was great.

Division 20 was very well represented, possibly

by more members than ever before! We almost

met our District Goal of having 3,000 members

attend total but fell just a little short.

For those of you who couldn’t attend this year,

each division represented a country and a sport.

Division 20 was given Germany and soccer.

For those of you who will be in Key Club next

year, I highly recommend going, it’s a ton of fun!

1. Go to www.keyclub.org/MUC to access the Membership Update Center.

2. Click "Register/Reset Password."

3. You'll be prompted to enter an email address. It is suggested that clubs

use the advisor’s e-mail.

*If you have a new faculty advisor or your faculty advisor's email has been

rejected, then you will need to email [email protected] with a re-

quest to update your club's faculty advisor contact information.

5. After you have set a new password for your club, you will be able to log

into the Membership Update Center in future years using your advisor's

email address and your personal password. Once you get into the system, it

is much improved from previous years and should be fairly self-explanatory.

For more details about how to navigate the system once you are logged in,

please see Kiwanis' help video:

Advocacy Bracelet Sale

How can you get one?

Each club will recieve the amount

of advocacy bracelets that they

have requested. Try to have sales

throughout November.

Advocacy Bracelets

The New Jersey District Board is proud to announce that we will now

be selling advocacy braceletes to raise money for the ELIMINATE Proj-

ect! The braceletes will be the same size and same lettering as a typical

"Livestrong" bracelet and will feature the saying "BElieve in YOUrself".

They will be light blue and sold for $1 each.

Why should you get one?

The bracelets were designed to

raise awareness about this year’s

advocacy focuses, which include

anti-bullying, self-image, and sui-

cide prevention. We hope that see-

ing this saying on someones wrist

could give that person the will to

fight for another day.
