EXAMPLES OF COLLABORATION Worked in the library on definitions of racism for

Coughlin’s class. Worked with Collins’s Art Foundations classes on an

Artist project. Pulled lots of art books on visual artists, sculptures, graffiti artists, pop surrealists, etc.

Worked with Steve Goldberg’s Middle Eastern Studies classes on selecting a topic and researching a cultural aspect of a country or ethic group. Pulled Middle Eastern cultures books; also demonstrated how to use JSTOR and Project MUSE for topic ideas

Created Turabian handout Refined Assignment Strategy and posted to wiki Attended Illinois School Library Media Association

conference and brought back innovative ideas for our library.
