The proposal: We had just picked up a pizza and were sitting in my car talking and he proposed.
Favorite detail: Bride: We had our son Phoenix involved in the entire wedding. He got to walk down the aisle and stand next to us during our vows.
Favorite moment: Bride: When the doors opened and I saw Leo and Phoenix waiting for me at the altar. Groom: The anticipation of waiting for my bride to walk down the aisle, then finally seeing her. She looked beautiful, as I expected her to.
Biggest challenge: Bride: SWEATING FOR THE WEDDING! Groom: Making sure my family RSVP'd.
Funniest moment: Bride: Right when I was about to walk down the aisle my garter fell off and was at my ankle. I was trying so hard to pull it back up so it wouldn't fall off as I was walking down the aisle. Groom: Nothing could embarrass me that day, it was our day.
If you could do one thing over: Bride: Everything, it was perfect. Groom: The Reception was definitely the highlight and having our first dance as husband and wife was unforgettable.
One piece of advice: Bride: Things will happen that day that are unexpected, but just let it all go and make the best of it. Groom: Remember, it's YOUR wedding.
Why you got married: Bride: I got married because I couldn't see myself growing old with anyone else. Leo is everything and more to me. Groom: My wife and I have been together since we were young. We have gone through a lot with each other and wanted to expand our commitment and grow with each other.
How to make your spouse happy: Bride: Cook for him! Groom: Do little things for her like bring her flowers or get her Whataburger.
What you look forward to most: Bride: Watching our children grow up and growing old together. Groom: Starting the next chapter of our life.
