General information
Submission Guidelines
All works must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The
following categories are welcome:
Oral Presentation
1. Time Allocation
Presentation Type Total Allotted Time Keynote Presentation 60 min Oral Presentation 20 min
• All presentations are including 5 minutes for question and discussion.
• All presenters are requested to start and do their presentation on time. A warning will be given
when 3 minutes left.
2.- Instructions for Oral Session Chairs
The Chairs are responsible for making presenters feel welcome and that all technical issues will be
solved. At the conference, arrive at the room of the session at least 10 minutes prior to the start the
session. At the beginning, introduce yourself to the audience and give a brief introduction of the
speakers and the overall topic.
After the presentation, the Chairs must ask if there are any questions, and make sure the questions do
not cause the presentation to be too long. If questions remain after the time is up, suggest that the
discussion resume after the session. The Chairs make sure of the time control between presentations.
Please, indicate the speakers politely when their time limit approaches. In the room there will be flags
which indicates the remaining time (1 and 5 minutes), the Chairs must show the flag to the speaker
when the end of the presentation is approaching.
If there is time left, suggest a discussion of topics relevant to the presentations. Say thanks to the
presenters and the audience for their attention, give the presenters the Participation Certificate and
conclude the session.
2. Technical Information:
• Speakers should send their presentation in pdf or Power Point format at least one day before the
presentation.
• All speakers should inform the Session Chair (before the start the Session) that they are present.
• All the works must be written and presented in English.
9
Web Conference
The participants will be asked to be ready 5 minutes before the presentation starts, time allocations
will be the same as for oral presentation. The participants will receive a mail with specifications on
directions about the connection. All presentations are including 5 minutes for question and
discussion.
Poster Presentation
The recommended poster size is 900 mm wide ×1200 mm long. Please make sure your Poster ID is
clearly shown in the poster.
Please bring your printed poster to the Conference Secretariat on the registration day, we will help
you to setup and display it. All presenters are responsible for removing their posters after the
presentation time. The ICTNN takes no responsibility for posters after that.
Student Poster Award
Students in poster sessions who want to participate must notify it at the registration desk in the
morning, the day of their presentation (October 29 or 30). Afterwards, the organizing committee will
give them an identification and they will be evaluated in their corresponding poster session. The
quality of the work, the results and the oral presentation will be evaluated by the scientific committee.

Asociación Mexicana Transdisciplinaria de Nanociencia y Nanotecnología,
A. C. The Asociación Mexicana Transdisciplinaria de Nanociencia y Nanotecnología, A.C. (AMEX-TNN,
A.C), was established on 2017, first of its kind in Mexico, aiming to collaborate with professionals,
students, entrepreneurs and researchers from different areas, in order to create a transdisciplinary
network, aligning the efforts into nanoscience and nanotechnology. Being an associate to the AMEX-
TNN, improves linking opportunities to strengthen, share and update knowledge, networking with
the industry, academic and government professionals.
Mission
Promote the active participation of the academia through diverse disciplines, widening the field of
action of nanoscience and nanotechnology, linking public, private and industrial sectors. Open the
knowledge of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology to society. Participate on National and International
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology promotion and diffusion programs. Develop the research
collaboration between worldwide researchers and other members of the society. Promote culture and
education on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Vision
Integrate different disciplines with Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, through several academic
activities. Establish the International Congress on Transdisciplinary Nanoscience and
Nanotechnology (ICTNN, Mexico City, 2018), as the most important Nanoscience and
Nanotechnology congress in Mexico. Establish a scholarship program for high level human resources
for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Objectives
Foster Nanoscience and Nanotechnology development for the benefit of environment and society,
through knowledge, research and technology, integrating diverse disciplines. Implement and promote
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology divulgation activities.
