How to fix Internet Explorer if Getting a Blackboard System Admin Error code

Follow these steps recommended by Blackboard if you are having issues with error messages trying to get into your Blackboard content. This issue began on October 25, 2011 and has continued through October 26, 2011. These steps made available to all RCU Blackboard users 11:00 AM October 26, 2011.

Open Internet Explorer

1. Left click on Tools2. Left click on Internet Options

Locate Settings

1. Left click on the Security tab2. Locate the Enable Protected Mode check

box

1. Left click to un check the Enable Protected Mode check box

2. Left click Apply3. Left click ok to acknowledge the warning

Verify Settings and Return to Browser

1. Verify the Enable Protected mode is not checked

2. Left click OK to return to the browser and use Blackboard
