Holganix LLC One Line Pitch: Proprietary product that reduces the need for fertilizer by 90%, pesticides by up to 50% while providing superior results with 30% lower overall cost for large fertilizer and chemical users such as lawn care professionals, golf courses and agricultural markets.

Business Summary: Holganix sells to professional lawn care maintenance providers and fertilizer distributors east of the Mississippi. Holganix is leading the way in the newly forming Bio-nutritional Plant and Soil Wellness industry.

Management: The management team has over 60 years of lawn care and agronomy experience having built three successful lawn care maintenance companies. Most recently Mr. Ersek built one of the largest residential lawn care company in the US from scratch in only 5 years, which he sold to TruGreen / Chemlawn in fall 2009. Mr. Commons, as CFO, has over 20 years of experience working with venture capital funded companies, including an IPO.

Customer Problem: Cost of petroleum-based fertilizer is climbing and normal organic fertilizer is already expensive or not effective. Govt. legislation reducing allowable nitrogen, phosphate, and pesticide content in fertilizer.

Product/Services: Holganix is non petroleum-based and requires fewer applications than chemical-based products. Use of Holganix results in considerable product and labor costs savings estimated to be 20% to 30% for the average customer. Holganix performs better than chemical products and is far superior to typical organics for insect and weed suppression. Additionally, Holganix has a more pleasant odor than most organic products after application.

Target Market: Initially Holganix is targeting professional lawn care maintenance companies and fertilizer distributors east of the Mississippi. Agricultural market is in early stages of development.

Customers: Presently Holganix sells primarily through distributors east of the Mississippi.

Sales/Marketing Strategy: Selling is direct to larger lawn care providers and fertilizer distributors who in turn sell to smaller users. Given management's extensive industry background sales are to already known entities. Amish distributors are selling agricultural product. Long term growth plans could entail company geographic expansion or focused push in to agricultural market.

Business Model: Recurring sales of a proprietary patent pending product with gross margins in excess of 65%.
