    Thru October 27 - Decision Height Dayton Theatre Guild, 430 Wayne Ave.; call for times. Decision Height tells the story of six

    Women's Air Force Service Pilots (called

    WASPS) who flew aircraft during World

    War II. While they didn't see combat, these

    ladies were responsible for transporting

    planes and pulling targets for live

    ammunition training, freeing the men for

    active duty after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

    The WASPS proved an important asset for

    the military, but have been largely forgotten

    in the history books. This play was the

    winner of the 2013 Kennedy Center

    American College Theatre Festival.

    October 26 - African Drumming Workshop and Performance Dayton Metro Library - Main Library, 215 E. Third St.; 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sogbety Diomande, drummer and performer

    from the Ivory Coast, leads a free drumming

    workshop at 1:30-2:30 p.m., followed by a

    public performance from 3-4 p.m. During the

    workshop, Diomande teaches adults and

    families basic techniques of hand drumming,

    focused on drumming styles of the Ivory

    Coast. He'll demonstrate the basic sounds of

    the African djembe, a goblet-shaped drum

    popular in West Africa. His performance,

    which follows at 3 p.m., features drumming

    and dance, colorful costumes, musical

    instruments, rhythms, and songs for

    audiences of all ages.

    Projects prioritized by headquarters are those projects intended to further enhance the rural economies by providing well-paying employment, essential community services and long term investments. These priority projects include:

    treatment and recovery of opioid addiction. Advancement of career training and development.

    The loan guarantee can be used to provide better rates and terms to the businesses you serve while reducing lender risk. In addition to reducing risk, the issuance of the loan guarantee can allow for additional fee income through the sale of the guaranteed portion on the secondary market.
