• Strategic planning is a process implemented by the university to identify what should be done in order to successfully accomplish its mission and main goals in the long term perspective.
• It tries to evaluate the present and predict the future environment in order to build more favorable and desired future for the university.
• 1994 - 1st Long-term Development Plan for 1995-1999
• 2001 – 2nd Long-term Development Plan for 2002-2007
• 2008 – 3rd Strategic Development Plan for 2010-2014
