I’m OK
Here at RCE we want to make sure you are A-OK!
The “I’m Okay Club” is a program for guests and
residents who are living alone.
Once you sign up with the Activity Office, you
must call in daily before 10:00 am. This is just a
daily check-in by phone that allows us to make
sure you are OK. If you don’t call in by 10:00 am,
we will try and reach you. If we are unsuccessful,
we will come to your house and check on you.
Please stop by the Activity Office to sign up. We
look forward to seeing you.
Safety from Wildlife
The weather is cooling and
this is a time when rattle-
snakes might seek the
warmth of a cozy asphalt
street after sundown.
For maximum safety carry a flashlight when you
are walking at night, keep pets on a leash, and
remain alert to an unlikely, but possible, encoun-
ter.
Speed Limit
Also please observe the 10-mph
speed limit inside the park.
AED Devices & 911 Phones
We have one Automated External Defibrillator
(AED) devices and one 911 Emergency phone.
Make it a point to learn their locations. There is
one of each in the Breezeway near the Office.
Stay tuned to “The Villager” for upcoming CPR
and AED classes. You could save a life!
Safety First!
A Few Words
from George
Welcome back to all of our friends and family to
what we think will be a very exciting year! We
once again thank you for joining us for the start of
another season, our 39th in fact, beginning at Rin-
con Country East RV Resort.
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly the sum-
mer months go by and the amount of work we are
able to accomplish. Every year we strive to make
Rincon Country RV Resort the best place to live for
our visitors.
You probably will notice some exciting changes
around our resort. We do our best to listen to all
of our guests and implement the suggestions that
you have made.
Rincon Country always stays ahead of the game
and being prepared is key when operating our re-
sorts. We have upgraded our transformers
throughout the park which will ensure solid electri-
cal connection for years to come.
One of the biggest changes is our new lighting in
the Auditorium. There are also noticeable changes
in our Activity Office, Front Office and Card/Poker
Room.
You will also notice some new faces around RCE in
our Front Office, Housekeeping, and Activity Office.
Don’t be shy, and make sure you pop in to intro-
duce yourself. We are also excited to announce
our Ambassadors are back this season to help get
our guests settled into their home away from
home.
As we say in Ireland, fáilte abhaile or welcome
home!

Wednesday Morning Coffee & Donuts
To go along with our movie theme this season,
each month in our newsletter, we will put a pic-
ture of a famous actor or actress drinking a cup
of joe! If you know this mystery duo pictured,
come into the Activity Office and put their
names on a piece of paper and put it in our
“Guess The Actor” box for your chance to win a
free ticket to one of our events! We will pick the
winner at the last coffee of each month!
You need to be present to win.
Make sure to join us for a free donut and cup of
coffee in the Auditorium on Wednesday morn-
ings. Bring your own mug and fill it up with hot
coffee (regular or decaf) or hot water for tea. As
you pass through the hall between the Rec. Hall
and Auditorium, select a donut or a piece of
fruit.
We’ll give you important park news hot off the
press, and there will usually be a brief message
from our coffee sponsor. Doors open at 8:30
am. Coffee and donuts will be served at 9:00 as
our program begins. See you there!

Karen’s Corner “Tis the Season”...at Rincon Country East! Once again our Winter residents and guests will
be arriving from the North to soak up the sun and fun. We are looking forward to seeing
all the familiar faces returning for another season and meeting newcomers who experi-
ence our resort for the first time.
Our office staff will be enhanced with two part-time helpers, Jasmine and Mary. Joanne will be returning for
her fourth year and this will be my second season. Stop by the office to let us know that you have returned
and to say hello to our new gals!
During the summer months, our new Activity Director, Shannon worked in the office and I must say she did an
amazing job. Shannon was busy making reservations, giving the Activity Office a much needed new look
along with new paint in the Card Room and main office. Thank you so much Shannon!
Mark and Randy, our Maintenance team, worked on many projects during the summer. I am certain that you
will see all of the improvements in the resort from their efforts.
Our Housekeeping Supervisor, Francisca is also back for her second season and we are lucky to have Mildred,
who will be helping her this season.
The Post Office is still well managed by Terry. Both he and his wife, Pat, worked many hours over the summer
months locking up and managing our phones after hours.
Thank you to our amazing staff and year round residents, “The Summer Buddies” who kept the resort alive
and well during the hot months at RCE.
A big shout out to Judy! Her energy, effort and devotion to creating enriching activities and events each sum-
mer for our year-round residents makes such a difference!
Welcome home - Karen Perry, Office Manager
