PesticideSmart News October 2017 Newsletter Greetings! This month's newsletter brings us new studies that further confirm the dangerous effects of pesticides on our bees, babies, and climate change. We also urge you to support an important congressional bill to ban a pesticide highly dangerous to children that EPA chief Scott Pruitt has chosen to keep on the market. There's also encouraging news this month! Note the hopeful studies about the impact of organic soil on climate change, as well as some phenomenal news about recent pollinator protection developments in California. And, as always, there are plenty of tips for healthy, chemical-free living. TAKE ACTION! Back in March, EPA head Scott Pruitt rejected the recommendations of his own agency's scientists and blocked a plan to ban chlorpyrifos, a dangerous, brain-harming pesticide. No level of exposure is safe for our children. Now US Representatives Velazquez (D- NY) and Ellison (D-MN) are asking their colleagues to co-sponsor a bill that would ban this toxic pesticide. Thirty-one House members have signed on, but more are needed. Click here to contact your Representative and ask them to support HR3380.

Greetings!

Now US Representatives Velazquez (D-NY) and Ellison (D-MN) are asking their colleagues to co-sponsor a bill that would ban this toxic pesticide.

Thirty-one House members have signed on, but more are needed. Click here to contact your Representative and ask them to support HR3380.
