GATEWAY TO HOPE RIBBON CUTTING

Breast cancer touches everyone, regardless of income, gender or insurance coverage. Gateway to Hope's mission is to secure comprehensive care and provide financial assistance for individuals in need who are diagnosed with or are at high risk for developing breast cancer. Gateway to Hope began as a small team of volunteers working to provide donated healthcare and services to women. Today, those volunteers have become full-time staff members, and its original services have expanded far beyond just medical services. Gateway to Hope is located at 425 N. New Ballas Road, Suite 220 in Creve Coeur. Call 314-569-1113 for more information about Gateway to Hope. Contact Dawn Van Houten, Executive Director, to see how you can get involved.

AUTO BEAUTY SPECIALISTS RIBBON CUTTING

In 1964, Dennis Garber purchased a fledgling, little auto detailing shop in Maplewood called Auto Beauty Specialists. Almost immediately, the business grew dramatically under Garber's ownership, eventually moving to larger space in Webster Groves in 1968, where it became a part of the fabric of the community and thrived for the next five decades. In 1998, Dennis' son, John, joined the business and he assumed increased responsibility until 2000, when he took over the day-to-day operations as President, working to expand and enhance the company's prominent standing in the industry. Zoning changes in Webster Groves prompted a move to Olivette where Auto Beauty Specialists has found a new community to embrace it. Some of the reasons Auto Beauty Specialists has earned a great reputation include its ICAR Gold certified repair technicians and service writers, its heavy investment in the latest and best equipment, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and tradesmen, and knowledge and experience to handle the most challenging reconditioning assignments. John invites you to visit his new facility at 1223 North Price Road. He may be reached at 314-968-7227. We're glad Auto Beauty Specialists made a change of location to Olivette.

TOTAL ACCESS URGENT CARE

Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) opened in Creve Coeur with its ninth neighborhood location and celebrated with a ribbon cutting. The state-of-the-art facility is located at 10923 Olive Blvd. It will be open 365 days a year and offers top notch medical treatment and customer service that have earned TAUC the highest patient reviews of any medical organization throughout the St. Louis region. Dr. Annu TerKonda serves as the Medical Director of TAUC's Creve Coeur location. She is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with a decade of emergency medicine experience. Dr. TerKonda leads a team adept at providing a wide range of services, including everything from IV hydration to stitches and lab work to CT scans. TAUC is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and offers fast, friendly, affordable care with most of the capabilities of a low-acuity ER, at one-eighth of the cost. Walk-in patients are registered, evaluated, examined, tested, counseled, treated and discharged in less than one hour. For additional information, visit TAUC.com or call 314-961-2255.
