NOTICE:

Per our Deed Restrictions parking cars, pick-up trucks or any vehicle, on the lawn of your home, whether you are a renter or a homeowner, is NOT ALLOWED.

ATTENTION: The Semi-Annual Homeowners Association Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 pm at the Mission Bend Club House, located at 6945 Addicks Clodine Rd. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

The agenda will include review of the 2014 annual budget, GMBAC initiatives, and neighborhood updates. We need 144 homeowners for a quorum to conduct the meeting. If you are unable to attend please, sign and return the proxy form so that we may have a quorum.

Without a quorum of at least 144 members we will not be able to hold an o!cial meeting.

Neighbors, crime is rising in our area. In August, Mission Bend had 60 reported crimes that included assault, theft, and breaking & entering. In addition we are seeing more and more gra!ti on our public spaces such as tra!c signs, commercial storefronts, bridges, fences, etc. If you see suspicious activity,

including vandalism, do not hesitate to contact your respective county sheri" ’s o!ce. Both Harris (http://www.harriscountyso.org/gra!ti_abatement.aspx) and Ft. Bend (http://www.fortbendcountytx.gov/index.

aspx?recordid=151&page=723) counties have Gra!ti abatement programs and you can submit a request for gra!ti removal online. Make sure to include the exact address or location of the gra!ti.

It is the responsibility of all of us to keep our community safe and secure. Don’t be a bystander in your own community … Get Involved and Take Action!

Hurricane season is still in e"ect through November 30 and the season usually peaks in September and October. Be prepared:

INGREDIENTS 1/2 (12-oz.) container ready-to-spread white frosting 1 (11-oz.) package cream-#lled chocolate cake squares 1 (0.68-oz.) tube black decorating gel

Architectural Control Committee Any exterior changes to your residence or lot requires submission of a Home Improvement Request Form at least ONE MONTH prior to the date you plan to commence the work. Work must not begin until you have been given approval by the ACC. Non-approved changes could cost you.

PreparationMicrowave frosting in a microwave-safe bowl at HIGH 30 seconds to 1 minute or until melted; stir until smooth. Let stand 2 minutes.

Place 1 cup melted frosting in a gallon-size zip-top plastic bag. (Do not seal.) Snip 1 corner of bag to make a small hole. Pipe frosting onto each cake square in the shape of a ghost, adding remaining frosting to bag as needed. Pipe 2 dots on each cake using black gel to form eyes.

PLEASE RECYCLEDo not throw beer cans, soda cans, glass bottles, or milk containers out with your trash. Use the small blue rectangular container for these items. You pay for this service as part of your Tuesday trash pick-up!

Rental Fee: $150.00 with a $200.00 damage deposit, paid in advance.

Payment: Cashiers’ Check or Money Order.

Damage Deposit: Refunded if clubhouse is properly cleaned and there is no damage to the property.

NOTE: The MB Pool is not included in the Clubhouse rental.
