Occupy London response to City Symposium London, ON – December 11, 2011 – We, Occupy London, will not be participating in the December 13, 2011 City Symposium on income disparity as a result of the limitations placed upon our participation. We believe that we have common concerns around income disparity and related matters, and that these issues are worse now than they were twenty years ago. We recognize that the existing governments and other institutions have failed to effectively address these matters locally, nationally and internationally. Occupy London wishes the citizen's panel and the City Symposium success in their endeavors.
