He also performs with Drew Carey’s Improv All-Stars and with Women Fully Clothed. Bob was the musical director, composer and keyboardist for The Second City theater mainstages in Toronto ON, Edmonton AB and Santa Monica CA from 1981-2006.

In addition to his continuing compositional and sound design work for film, television, dance and theater, Bob’s soundscape “The Winds of Mars” opens Visions of Mars, which is an extra-terrestrial DVD-ROM artifact created by The Planetary Society as a time-capsule greeting for future settlers of Mars. It remains on-deck NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander which successfully landed in the northern arctic region of Mars on May 25, 2008.

Bob has released 6 CDs of original electronic and piano music available on iTunes and at CD Baby. Visit his website bobderkachmusic.com. Turn up the speakers and click on the Planets!

RYAN STILESIt’s not surprising that Ryan Stiles would feel comfortable doing a comedic turn in the role of Lewis,

one of Drew Carey ‘s ever-present friends in the comedy, The Drew Carey Show (1995). After all, the first job Stiles ever had was that of a stand-up comedian. Although he was a good student, Stiles admits that “being a high-school senior gave me too much freedom.” He got so carried away with his flexible schedule that he quit

school a few months shy of graduation and got a job doing stand-up comedy at Punchlines, a club in Vancouver.

In spite of his parents’ objections, he was able to support himself for several years, but “I got out of stand-up when everybody else started doing it,” he says. He didn’t stray too far from the world of comedy. In 1986, he joined the highly acclaimed Second City comedy ensemble in Toronto, where he honed his improvisational skills. In 1990, Stiles moved to Los Angeles to perform with the Los Angeles Second City group. Film and television roles soon followed, including roles in Hot Shots! (1991) and Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993). Stiles’ television credits include Parker Lewis Can’t Lose (1990), Mad About You (1992) and cable’s The Hitchhiker (1983).

Ryan currently stars as Herb in the hit TV series, Two And A Half Men.

GREG PROOPS“Sharp dressed and even sharper witted.” Greg Proops is a stand up comic from San Francisco. He lives in Los

Angeles. And likes it. Greg co-stars in a new comedy

series called True Jackson VP. Starring Keke Palmer, NAACP Image Award

winner, as True. Greg plays Max Madigan, president of Mad Fashion. True Jackson gets the chance of a lifetime when she’s hired by Max and made VP of his fashion empire. Airing at 8:30 Saturdays on Nickelodeon.

Greg has joined long time cohort Ryan Stiles in a two-man improvised show, Unplanned. They performed for sell out crowds at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and taped a gala for the CBC.

The Proopdog is best known for his unpredictable appearances on Whose Line is it Anyway?, the hit, improvised comedy show hosted by Drew Carey. Greg is also a regular on the long running British version of WLIIA? Mr. Proops is a frequent guest on Chelsea Lately on E! and on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld on Fox News. Greg may be heard as the voice of Bob the Builder on the popular children’s series seen on PBS. Proopworld provides the announcer voice Hank “Buckshot” Holmes for the forthcoming game Mad World for SEGA.

Mr. Proops is married to a woman, Jennifer. He doesn’t deserve her. They reside in Lower California with their pet ocelot, Bristol.

CHIP ESTENIn 1992, Esten’s potential was spotted by the makers of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Consequently, he

made his debut on the show and “won” the episode, reading the credits in the style of an auctioneer. At the time, the show needed a second specialist improvisational singer for episodes when Mike McShane wasn’t on, and Esten proved a worthwhile experiment.

Esten made one more appearance in the UK edition in 1994 before moving back to the USA and playing the role of

Luke in Party of Five. His 1999 return to Whose Line Is It Anyway? established him with a mainstream American audience. He became a regular “fourth contestant” on the show.

In 2001, Esten appeared in Billy Crystal’s TV movie 61* as Kevin Maris and had roles in two Kevin Costner movies, The Postman and Thirteen Days.

Esten also starred in a public service video, “Riding Straight,” produced for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s curriculum, “Motorcycle Rider Course: Riding and Street Skills” (MRC:RSS). He portrayed a surfer dude, a snuff-dipping hick and a concerned friend in a bar. His over-the-top comedy and sincere public service message, greatly invigorated the drug- and alcohol-awareness portion of the MRC:RSS.

Esten appeared in several episodes of The Office as Josh Porter. Chip’s television guest star roles continue to increase with appearences on The New Adventures of Old Christine and several episodes of ER. He also appeared as Kelly Bundy’s equally stupid ex-con boyfriend in the final episode of Married... with Children. He portrayed a Klingon named Divok in the Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as Dathan, an Enaran, in the Star Trek: Voyager. Esten had a recurring role on the TV show The Winner, playing the boyfriend of Alison. He appeared on the TV show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman as Ethan Press and HBO’s Big Love.

JEFF DAVISJeff is most famous as a guest star on the improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? He also appears in

Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show. He is most famous for his impressions of

BIOGRAPHIES cont.

Christopher Walken and Jeff Goldblum in the Whose Line game “Questionable Impressions.” He was also used quite a bit in the singing games.

A multi-talented actor and singer raised in Southern California, started his acting career at the age of 4 at the Groundlings Theater in Hollywood, playing Linus in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. On opening night, he threw up on his director.

Davis started in commercials when he was 4 years old, and at age 11 was cast as Louis in the Broadway production of The King and I with Yul Brynner. A national tour followed, and after 750 performances, Davis returned home to attend school.

Davis began performing with various improv troupes, and did a lot of work with the short video website Channel 101.com and was in the

Dan Harmon series Laser Fart. Soon after he landed a recurring role on the improv series Whose Line Is It Anyway? His comedic timing won over comedian Steve Martin and the other producers of The Downer Channel, earning Davis a spot in the cast of the comedy sketch/reality series in 2001. He also appeared on the television series The Norm Show, The Drew Carey Show and The WB ‘s The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. Davis appeared in the acclaimed telefilm Tuesdays With Morrie and was a series regular on Happy Family, opposite Christine Baranski and John Larroquette in the fall of 2003.

Davis currently resides in Los Angeles and tours with fellow Whose Liners; Ryan Stiles, Chip Esten and Greg Proops. Davis has also been part of two USO tours.
