Copydan Agreement• The original Agreement between the State and University Library and Copydan

(Association of Danish Copyright Holders) were made in 2004.

• The State and University Library maintains a Copydan database and keeps track off Journals, that is covered by the Agreement.

• An additional Agreement was made in 2011, concerning popular Danish magazines.

• Scanned Articles can be delivered in digital form, directly to Patrons or Libraries.

• From May 1 – 2014, both original Agreements has been integrated in an new Agreement.

• Price per article – approximately 1 € in 2014.

• Contains metadata that describes the content of articles in Danish Journals

• Approximately 1 mill. records• 28000 new records is added each year• Each meta record is linked to the host publication• The use of controlled meta data in the request

proces, makes it possible to recycle allready scanned articles
