    Sis. Leona Bing Harris was born on October 11, 1953 in Burke County, Ga. to Rev. & Mrs. Sylvester Bing. She lived most of her life in Richmond County, Ga.

    At an early age she was converted and baptized at the Palmer Grove Baptist Church, McBean, Ga.

    She was a 1971 graduate o f Lucy C. Laney High School. She received a diploma from Augusta Area Technical School in 1973.

    Leona was employed by Colonial Baking Co. On September 6, 1975 she was united in matrimony.

    She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Rev. & Mrs. Sylvester D. Bing; three sisters, Virginia B. O ’Bryant, Vernester B. Hobbs, and Dorothy B. Hudson all of Augusta; three brothers, Sylvester O. Bing, Larry D. Bing, and James E. Bing all o f Augusta; mother-in-law, Lena Gonder, Augusta; three sisters-in-law, Pernella B. Bing, Veronica H. Bing, Thirsteen H. Bing all o f Augusta, Mary Harris, Bronx, N.Y. and Rubertha Stevens, Minnesota; three brothers- in-law, Elliott O Bryant, Robert Hobbs and Donald Hudson all o f Augusta; maternal grandmother, Idella Smith; paternal grandmother, Rosa Bing; a very special niece, Keysa Bing; a stepdaughter, Melinda Marshall; three goddaughters, Djoiishtshetique Bing, Davassa Lee, and Nastassija Bing; eight nieces; one nephew; aunts; uncles; greataunts; greatuncles; cousins and a host o f friends.
