reduction) for each OAS Scholarship Recipient who is accepted by the University.
“The Caribbean Undergraduate Scholarship Program (CUSP) offers partial scholarships to CARICOM resident citizens that can reduce the amount of tuition for
undergraduate studies by up to 60%. Awards for the CUSP are for the duration of the undergraduate program”.
Description of Cooperation Terms
UWI shall charge the OAS US$6000 for undergraduate programs and US$7000 for graduate programs as tuition fees for OAS scholarship recipients per academic year.
The University shall waive 20% tuition fees for each OAS Scholarship recipient
With the exception of the Doctor of Social Sciences program, all OAS scholarship enrolled will pay tuition according to the following formula: total domestic tuition + 50%
of the international student tuition differential
The university shall offer a teaching assistant position to each OAS scholarship recipient, valued at approximately $4,200 canadian dollars for one semester. Teaching
assistant positions for subsequent semesters are subject to availability.
UdeM shall waive additional tuition fees charged to international students for OAS scholarship recipients up to a maximum of 2 students at the Master’s level per year
and on a case by case basis for the maximum of 1 student at the PhD level per year. Grant for living expenses and "writing theses" fees MAY BE available for two years
for 1 (one) PhD student.
The University of Manitoba will cover differential fees normally charged to international students for all OAS scholarship recipients entering full-time studies in a
graduate degree program (Master or Ph.D.), provided that the OAS scholarship recipient demonstrates an entrance grade point average being greater than 3.5 (on a 4.5
scale) in the previous two years or equivalent of study.
The University shall offer a teaching assistant position to each OAS scholarship recipient, valued at approximately $4,200 Canadian dollars for one semester. Subsequent
semesters are subject to availability.
The U. of A. shall cover the international student differential tuition fee for up to two years of study in a thesis-based master’s program or doctoral program.

The University shall waive the English as a Second Language (ESL) program fee for a maximum of 1 semester of OAS scholarship recipients requiring ESL training. OAS
scholarship recipients will be guaranteed part-time, on-campus employment, if desired (min 5 hours/week during the academic year).
The University shall reduce its international tuition fee differential by 50% for each OAS scholarship recipient, not to include room, board, travel, visa, health insurance,
or other personal or incidental expenses.
The University shall waive tuition fees for each OAS scholarship recipient up to a maximum of 50% of tuition.
Western shall provide funding and bursaries to OAS Scholarship Recipients accepted by the University. For doctoral students, funding shall cover the full amount of
tuition, plus at least another $12,000.00. OAS Scholarship Recipients in masters programs will be provided with the same level of funding as is guaranteed to all masters
students in the program, which is minimally the equivalent of tuition.
The University shall waive the international differential tuition fees for doctorate students. This means that for OAS scholarship recipients pursuing doctorate degrees,
the University shall charge the OAS the amount of tuition and mandatory fees paid by residents of Quebec for the duration of their doctoral studies.
The university will waive the amount of the tuition differential between the International and the Quebec Resident rate (International supplement) for all of its Master's
(Thesis) and PhD graduate programs, as set each year by the Quebec Ministry of Education and Higher Education of approximately US$ 10,773 annually for Master's, and
approximately US$ 9,457 annually for PhD. The University reserves the right to provide additional funding to the Scholarship Recipient, if available.
The University shall offer a reduction on 50% of tuition fees (with the exception of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and The College of Engineering

The University shall consider each OAS scholarship recipient for the merit-based scholarship program, with scholarships from $5,000 to full tuition based on GMAT and

NMSU shall waive the difference between in-state and out of state tuition for a maximum of five (5) OAS scholarship recipient and Rowe Fund loan recipient per year.
The Center for Latin American Studies will offer OAS scholarship recipients in state tuition for the duration of their program and/or enrolment at the University. This
discount represents approximately 60% of the tuition rate once evidence is provided of complementary sources of funding, adequate to fully finance costs associated
with participation in the academic programs covered by this agreement.
Brandeis shall offer 60% of tuition discounts for each OAS scholarship recipient for each year of the program.
The University shall offer cost-share for OAS scholarship recipients admitted to its graduate programs in the amount of up to $7,000.00 per student, per year, for two
years, to be applied to tuition, subject to appropriations being available. Cost-share agreements will be made on a case by case basis with each admitted OAS

significant amount of their educational and living expenses at the University paid for by their OAS award. The waiver reduces the student’s tuition cost from non-resident
to resident tuition.
For graduate students, beginning the second year UTD shall provide the student with the means to cover tuition and fees, room, board, books and materials and health
insurance. For Ph.D. students, for the third and fourth years and for the balance of the program, UTD shall provide the student with the means to cover tuition and fees,

duration of their programs. Scholarship recipients enrolled in the PhD program will also receive a stipend for living expenses after the first two years of matriculation.
For undergraduate and grad students the University shall provide a scholarship to cover 50% of tuition for up to two academic years of study (six quarters).
RIT will also waive the application fee of OAS awardees.
The Academy shall offer 50% tuition discounts per year that range for $10,000 to $17,000 based on the course of study, for each OAS scholarship recipient.
