FOR STARTERS: Is scheduled to make his team-leading seventh start of the season…it will be the 12th start of his career…has a decision in each of his six starts this year and has alternated wins and losses in each start.

FOURTH START: He was the winning pitcher in the A’s 4-3 victory over Seattle April 22 in Oakland…allowed a solo home run to Cano in the first inning but the A’s came back with three in the bottom of the first…yielded a sacrifice fly to Cruz in the third but the A’s got that run back in the bottom of the third…was relieved by Montas to start the seventh inning with the A’s leading 4-2.

FIFTH START: He was the losing pitcher in the A’s 9-4 loss at Houston April 28…allowed a career-high six runs on a career-high 10 hits in a ca-reer-low tying 4.1 innings…Oakland scored three times in the first but he allowed three unearned runs in the bottom of the first on RBI singles by Beltran and Gurriel and a RBI double by Gattis…the A’s scored once in the third to take a 4-3 lead but he allowed a Springer RBI single in the fourth and two more runs in the fifth, including a Gattis RBI single.

LAST START: He was the winning pitcher in the A’s 8-5 win at Minnesota last Thursday…struck out a career-high nine batters and yielded two home runs in a game for the first time in his career…had a 4-0 lead when he al-lowed a pair of solo home runs in the bottom of the second to Rosario and Santana…also yielded an unearned run in the fourth inning when Rosario scored on a Gimenez single and Jaff Decker error…left after six innings with a 6-3 lead.
