OAK PARK HIGH SCHOOL
COLLEGE APPLICATION & MATRICULATION STATISTICS (2012-2020)
An annual survey is completed prior to graduation by all Oak Park High School Seniors. It is primarily a self-reporting survey done to provide a picture of what our graduates plans are after high school. It has been established to be an accurate picture of the college plans of a graduating class, as well as providing the average academic profile of OPHS students who were admitted to specific colleges and universities. Naviance has collected OPHS college admission data dating back to the class of 2009. In the shortcut’s column on the left-hand side of our “Senior Year – The College Application Process” webpage, you can view statistics for individual classes back to the Class of 2000. For questions contact Julie Prince at [email protected]. *Note: Beginning with the Class of 2020 the UC/CSU weighted GPA was eliminated and replaced with Overall Weighted GPA (UC/CSU data weighted 10th-12th academic courses and did not cap AP/H courses). Overall Weighted GPA gives an extra point for AP/H courses and includes all courses 9th-12th).

4-YEAR COLLEGE ACCEPTANCES (2014-2020)
ABBREVIATIONS
The Oak Park High School Class of 2020 received high recognition from colleges and universities throughout the country! In an exit survey administered to our 341 graduating Oak Park High School Seniors, the following statistics were collected. Column abbreviations are as follows: Accepted = the number of seniors who reported that they were accepted by this college. Attending= the number of seniors who reported that they have committed to attend this college. For colleges where students have committed to attend: Average AP/H/C= the average number of AP, Honors and College courses taken by those attending. Average Cumulative Unweighted GPA = the average cumulative unweighted GPA of those attending. If no students have committed to attend, this will be the average cumulative unweighted GPA of all accepted students. Average Cumulative Weighted GPA = the average cumulative weighted GPA of all courses taken by those attending. If no students have committed to attend, this will be the average cumulative weighted GPA of all accepted students. Average SAT/ACT = the average SAT/ACT of those who have committed to attend. If no students have committed to attend, this will be the average cumulative weighted SAT/ACT of all accepted students. A dash (-) means that there is no data (current or historical) to report for this field. *Note: “Attended” average is used in order to depict the most accurate data of the students who actually attend the college. Denied = the number of seniors who reported that they applied and were denied by this college. For colleges where NO students were accepted: Average AP/H/C = the average number of AP, Honors and College courses taken by those who were denied. Average SAT/ACT = the average SAT/ACT of those who were denied. Average Cumulative Unweighted GPA = the average cumulative unweighted GPA of those who were denied. *Note: If none of the admitted or denied students for a particular school has taken an SAT or ACT test this year, the SAT/ACT score quoted is the average of OPHS students accepted to that school from years 2016-2020.
