Supporting independence Giving people a way to get in touch with support whenever they need it gives them the freedom to live independently. Our Help at Hand mobile telecare service does just that. It means our customers can stay connected to the people they depend upon for care. And it means freeing up more time for the people who need face-to-face care the most.

Giving power to the patient

We can help you give people with long-term conditions more choice and a better experience of healthcare. With our Side by Side service, patients don’t have to go to hospital to see a specialist. They only have to go as far as their GP, who sets up a video consultation. They can see who they’re talking to, as well as scans, x-rays and the latest care information. All on the same screen. All at the same time.

Making Care Personal We can help you build care routines around patients’ needs by making it possible for them to log their own clinical data, monitor vital signs or record drug treatments.

No one wants to travel to hospital if they can get care at their GP’s surgery or at home, or manage their own condition. And with primary care set to face more demand from an ageing population, innovative community care suits healthcare organisations too.

Getting information anywhere When your teams are on the road, they’re gathering new information. And they need access to the information you’ve already got. We’ve got the technology to let them do both on the spot by getting them straight on to your systems, wherever they are.

Freeing up your teamsWherever you’re giving care, we can help you make sure your teams spend as much time as possible with patients, not paperwork.

Communicating better When teams communicate better with each other and with patients, things work better for everyone. We’re experts at making that possible. We’ll analyse how your teams work, find out what they need and translate that into recommendations for new systems and tools.

Helping your people learn and develop Give your people the training they need to do their jobs, but let them do it where they want. We’ll work with you to produce training and interactive learning people can access on their computers or smartphones.

Looking after your people Your people sometimes face risk, especially if they’re working alone in the community. And the more they provide care in patients’ homes, the more that risk increases. It’s up to you to keep it to a minimum. We can help with advice, training and technology like alarms, monitoring devices and response services.

The key to working more efficiently is working differently, not just using more technology. So we’ll help you rethink your processes, pinpoint the main issues and build a business case for change. If you already know the new processes you need, we’ll help you bring them in through technology and change management.

Managing information

Gathering, storing and sharing information reliably and safely makes you more efficient and productive. And it helps you cut clinical and business risk. We can give you systems to collect and exchange data on the move and keep it secure. So you’ll avoid the delays and worry to patients and clinicians that go with lost or unreliable data.

Creating more capacity

You can create extra capacity by cutting the number of patients who miss appointments. If you can find other ways of giving them what they get from consultations, so much the better. Our systems reminding patients about appointments will bring no-show rates down.
