Any personnel being involved in installation, operation, maintenance and cleaning of the unit has to be qualified and has to know and respect theseinstructions and the local regulations.

INFORMATION

WARNING Risk of infury by elecrical shockOperation of unit with grounded line only.Check wires regularly for damages or wear and tear. Stop operation of unit after having noticed a damageof the unit. Electric line has to be splash waterproofed. Repair by trained personnel only. Beforeadjusting, repairing, maintaining or cleaning of theunit, machine has to be removed from electricity.

Danger of explosion and fireNever suck explosive liquids, flammable gas, explosive dust, solvents and undiluted acid. DANGER OF EXPLOSION !!!

The unit is suited to suck dry dirt out of the inner of a vehicle. Do not suck liquids out of containers.

Unit has to be installed outside of dangerous areas, e.g.:• Effective range of petrol pumps• Area around vehicles being refueled• Area around the tank exhausting poles• Close to gasoline traps• Close to tank vehicles• Other areas which ca be dangerous because of

fuel, gas, explosive substances

Do not suck harmful dust or other substances

The unit has to be installed on a solid, stableconcrete fixed by suitable fixings. Please usededicated fixing holes at the bottom of the unit.

INSTALLATION ATTENTIONThe unit has to be installed on a solid, stableconcrete

• Horizontal, flat position with suitableconcrete for fixing the unit with deliveredfixing material

• Space for unit must have minimum thefollowing : 1236 mm x 742 mm

• Electrical connection according toTechnical Data (Page 12)

• Power supply acc. to pages 12 and 19)• Four holes to fix unit acc. to page 21

Make sure that ttension on the unit‘s platecorresponds to tension provided on site.Check fuse protection of local tension on siteConnect unit acc. to wiring diagram with local powersupply

Unpack unit, Please organise recycling of packingmaterialRemove container from housingRemove hoses and nozzles from containersMove housing to the planned location

Fix unit tight with the delivered fixing material byusing the corresponding holes on the bottom of theunit. If necessary use shims to bring the unit into a horizontal position.

INSTALLATION / COMMISSIONING

Vacuum Cleaners Please position vacuum cleaner units in the housing, fittings directe to the sides. Fix hoses in the fitting bysliding them through the side holes. ConnectContainers with the side channel blowers by usingcuffs.

Timer The unit will be delivered from the factory with a standard operation time of 4 minutes.Operation time can be changed by adjusting thesmall handwheel at the relais

For best performance of the unit the followingmaintenance routines are highly recommended

MAINTENANCE

Daily maintenance

WARNINGBefore maintaining the unit pleasedisconnect unit from power supply and check whether unit is de-energised.

Open doors, Check whether locks are smooth-running, if not – please grease

Check housing whether it is damaged by accidents orbreak-in attempts

Test hoses and nozzles for completenessand leaks.

Remove hose from vacuum cleaner and check forobstacles inside

Unplug motor head, open catches of the container and remove motor head from container

Check swimmer unit

Remove filter from container, clean container. Ifnecessary dehumidify container

Check coin acceptor free of any obstacles, check function of coin acceptor by pushing the micro switch(a „klick“ has to be recognised)Check functionality of self-service vacuum cleaner bya one-run. Check time of operation.

MAINTENANCE

Clean filter by tapping or – if necessary – usecompressed air (direction inside-out)

Attention: Do not use compressed air too close to thefilter

Check interior space of housing humidity and dry it ifnecessary.

Test for leaks and seal housing with silicon ifnecessary. Leaks can be caused by accidents or in-break attempts..

Clean housing inside, complete vacuum cleaners, remove them into the housing and plug them in thesockets.

Weekly maintenance

Clean housing and vacuum cleaner by using neutral detergents.
