O Come, Let Us Adore Him O come, let us adore Him;O come, let us adore Him;O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

We’ll praise His name forever;We’ll praise His name forever;We’ll praise His name forever,

Christ the Lord.

We’ll give Him all the glory;We’ll give Him all the glory;We’ll give Him all the glory,

Christ the Lord.

For He alone is worthy;For He alone is worthy;For He alone is worthy,

Christ the Lord.

Luke 1:57-6657 Now Elizabeth's full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son. 58 When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her. 59 So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias. 60 His mother answered and said, “No; he shall be called John.”61 But they said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.” 62 So they made signs to his father—what he would have him called.63 And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled. 64 Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God. 65 Then fear came on all who dwelt around them; and all these sayings were discussed throughout all the hill country of Judea. 66 And all those who heard them kept them in their hearts, saying, “What kind of child will this be?” And the hand of the Lord was with him.

It came upon the midnight clear,That glorious song of old,

From angels bending near the earth,To touch their harps of gold;

Peace on the earth, good will to men,From Heaven’s all gracious King.The world in solemn stillness lay,

To hear the angels sing.

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear

Still through the cloven skies they comeWith peaceful wings unfurled,

And still their heavenly music floatsO’er all the weary world;

Above its sad and lowly plains,They bend on hovering wing,

And ever over its Babel soundsThe blessèd angels sing.

And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,Whose forms are bending low,

Who toil along the climbing wayWith painful steps and slow,

Look now! for glad and golden hoursCome swiftly on the wing.

O rest beside the weary road,And hear the angels sing!

For lo! the days are hastening on,By prophet-bards foretold,

When with the ever circling yearsComes round the age of gold;

When peace shall over all the earthIts ancient splendors fling,

And the whole world send back the songWhich now the angels sing.

The Birthday of a King In the little village of Bethlehem,

There lay a Child one day;And the sky was bright with a holy light

O’er the place where Jesus lay.Alleluia! O how the angels sang.

Alleluia! How it rang!And the sky was bright with a holy light

’Twas the birthday of a King.

’Twas a humble birthplace, but O how much

God gave to us that day,From the manger bed what a path has led,

What a perfect, holy way.

Alleluia! O how the angels sang.Alleluia! How it rang!

And the sky was bright with a holy light’Twas the birthday of a King.

O Come, All Ye Faithful O come, all ye faithful, joyful and

triumphant,O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem.

Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;

O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation;O sing, all ye bright hosts of heaven

above!Glory to God, all glory in the highest;

O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;

Jesus, to Thee be glory given;Word of the Father, now in flesh

appearing.O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.
