1 Faculty of Global Human Sciences Kobe University’s Faculty of Global Human Sciences aims to produce ‘cooperative global graduates’ who can tackle global issues (the issues facing today’s society that need to be addressed through cooperation on a global scale) with a deep sense of human understanding and compassion, and are also capable of contributing to building a global society where people across the world can coexist beyond borders. ・Department-wide core courses enable students to develop core specialist knowledge relating to global cultural formation, global social dynamics and global communication.

・Department-wide advanced courses enable students to develop advanced specialist knowledge relating to global cultural formation, global social dynamics and global communication.

These courses often involve active learning or experiential study in the form of

lectures, practical learning, practical training or other classroom formats, and interactive learning in small groups is actively encouraged. The global studies program also includes overseas studies and field studies.

Assessments are carried out in a pluralistic and comprehensive manner in line with the relevant learning objectives.

・Department of Human Development and Community The curriculum of the Department of Human Development and Community in the

Faculty of Global Human Sciences is structured as follows, based on the Curriculum Policy of Kobe University.
