The players are: TebogoGalane (Kaizer Chiefs), Mduduzi Sithole, Kavendree Makhene and Siyabulela Mosiea. All of them are registered studentsand SAFA SedibengSAB League players represen- ting NWU Vaal. To date, USSA Football has produced players such as Siyabonga Nhlapo (former VUT Student now Supersport), Thabo Rakgale (NWU Mafikeng now Chippa United), Lehlohonolo Majoro (UJ now Bid Wits), Mlungisi Mbunjane (UJ now Highlands Park) and the likes of Bushy Moloi (TUT now assistantcoachBaroka), Floyd Mbele (TUT now head of admini- stration at Orlando Pirates). Speaking to Vaalweekblad, NWU Vaal Football Manager Thomas Thema said that this is a great achievementnot only for the players but alsofor the university. Thema said the players will depart on June 25. "As NWU Vaal we would like to take this opportunity to congratulatethe players. We wish them the bestof luck to make us proud. This is an opportunityfor them to launch their football careers at the highest level. I must also mention that the very sameplayers were competing in the Safa Sedibeng SAB League.
