DescriptionLindab have been supplying air terminal devices to theUK market for over 15 years. Our range of grilles, louvresand diffusers have been designed and are manufacturedto provide high quality products at extremely attractiveprices. By focusing on a selected range of product lineswe are able to deliver these quality products directly fromstock or on very short lead times.

ConstructionLindab grilles & diffusers are manufactured from highquality materials throughout with mechanically lockedmitred face corners which provide a well engineered jointcombined with excellent visual appearance.

FinishAll grilles & diffusers are polyester powder coated toprovide a high quality, tough and attractive finish in white(RAL 9010 semi-gloss). Non vision transfer grilles aresupplied in a satin silver finish as standard.

The satin silver finish is also available as a no costoption on all grilles.

Weather louvres and dampers are supplied mill finish.

FixingStandard products are supplied with countersunk fixingholes in the border, complete with colour matched fixingscrews (NOTE: CD diffusers, tile replacement eggcrategrilles & weather louvres do not have face fixing holes).

PackagingAll products are individually shrinkwrapped and fitted withremovable oversized plactic corner pieces to protect thegrill/diffuser face & corners in transit (circular ceilingdiffusers are individually suitably wrapped for transit).

OptionsPaint Finish - In addition to the standard finishesvirtually any RAL or BS colours maybe specified at extracost.Dampers - All products (ex. weather louvres) can besupplied complete with an opposed blade damper.Plenum Boxes - Are available in both high impactpolystyrene & galvanised sheet steel. Being lighter ourplastic boxes are easier to install, are generally availablefrom stock and offer significant cost benefits.

Ordering ProcedureWhen ordering please give the nominal duct aperture intowhich the product is to be offered (for ceiling diffusersgive the neck size). These are the dimensions used asstandard. Give the width dimension first, followed by theheight.

A manufacturing size reduction tolerance is providedto ensure a good fit. If the overall size is critical pleaseorder by these dimensions clearly stating overall size.

Blades on grilles always run width dimension.

Double deflection grilles have a front row of individuallyadjustable horizontal blades and behind them asecondary row of vertical adjustable blades. Suitable forsupply applications in both sidewalls and ceilings.A centre supporting mullion is fitted to all grilles over400mm to ensure rigidity.

Eggcrate grilles have a 13mm x 13mm square core andwith their high free area are ideal for return airapplications. Supplied as standard with countersunkholes for fixing (except 595 x 595 overall tilereplacement sizes). Eggcrate grilles with removable orhinged cores and disposable filter panel are available tospecial order.

Curved Blade Grille with Damper Non Vision Grille with matching Flange

Curved blade grilles are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 way airdiffusion patterns. They have one set of individuallyadjustable blades. One & two way blow have bladesrunning parallel to the width dimension. A centresupporting mullion is fitted to all grilles over 600mm.

Non vision grilles are manufactured with a fixed inverted Vprofile to provide a vision proof air transfer grille.

Non vision grilles are available as a single unit or withmatching flange as shown below (suitable for door/wallthicknesses of 36-60mm).

Linear Bar Grille Polymer Plenum Box

Linear bar grilles have a single row of horizontal blades.They are suitable for cill, ceiling or sidewall installationfor supply or extract applications. Models are availablewith straight or angled blades.

Optional blade pitches and styles together withalternative frames are available on request - speak toyour local branch for details.

Our range of polymer plenum boxes offer a highly costeffective and lightweight method of ductwork connectionto our grille range.

The black finish improves installation aesthetics and thenon-corrosive easy clean polymer construction helpsreduce duct-borne bacteria.N.B. Galvanised steel plenum boxes are also available.

Lindab square and rectangular multicone diffusers havebeen designed to meet a wide range of modernapplications and include sizes for ceiling tilereplacement. They are supplied as standard with aspring loaded removable centre core for ease ofcleaning and adjustment. All diffusers are supplied witha safety cord between the diffuser core and frame.

Size RangeFrom 150 x 150mm to 600 x 600mm nominal neck size.For 600 x 600 T bar ceilings please specify 450mmsquare neck with 595 x 595 dimensions across face ofdiffuser.

FixingScrew or rivet fixing through the diffuser neck into theduct or plenum box/pan adaptor.

PackagingEach diffuser is supplied wrapped in polythene withoversized plastic corner pieces to protect diffuser facesand corners. Each unit is marked with the productreference and size for ease of identification.

ConstructionLindab diffusers are manufactured from high qualitymaterials with a cleated and welded constructionproviding excellent mechanical strength and high qualitymitred joints.

Lindab diffusers are supplied as standard with apolyester powder coated white finish RAL9010.

Our attractive Twister Swirl Diffuser is a highperformance ceiling diffuser which is ideal for VAVapplications. The radial vane design produces anunmatched high induction swirl pattern designed tooptimize occupant comfort by minimising stratification.

Our Architectural Ceiling Diffuser has been designed toprovide an unobtrusive appearance and a 360 degreediffusion pattern at minimum NC levels. The stampedone piece outer core eliminates mitred corners and dieformed curves provide consistent quality performance.

Perforated Face Grille

Lindab Circular Ceiling Diffusers are specificallydesigned to ensure even distribution of air and quitnessin operation. The inner core fixes easily and quickly tothe outer support cone and all edges are beaded to givegreater rigidity and neater appearance. Adjustment ofthe diffuser is achieved via the central threaded cone.

Lindab perforated grilles are medium capacity return orexhaust outlets. The perforated core has 5mm diastaggered holes on 6mm centres and provides 50% freearea. Their design is clean and unobtrusive providing anuncluttered appearance favoured by many architects.

Our external weather louvre is supplied complete withbird mesh screen as standard. The 38mm pitch blade isideal for most applications and provides a balancedappearance whilst offering excellent resistance to thepenetration of rain. Louvres are supplied in mill finish asstandard with special paint finishes available to order.

Our 50mm pitch weather louvre is available in sizes upto 2000 x 2000 in single sections and like the 38mmpitch louvre, comes complete with bird mesh screen andis mill finish as standard with special paint finishesavailable to order.

Keeping noise and cost levels down to a minimum areprobably the two biggest problems an engineerdesigning a ventilation system has to face today. Thepatented Model KSU Exhaust Valve has been developedwith these criteria in mind and has a very low noise leveleven when the pressure drop across it is large. Thischaracteristic allows relatively high air velocities to beused, permitting the selection of the most economicalsize of ductwork and exhaust valves.

Adjustment of the airflow is simple, the inner conebeing rotated to the required setting and locked inposition with a single nut. Each air valve is suppliedcomplete with a mounting ring from which it can besimply removed for cleaning without affecting the settingof the valve.

ConstructionThe outer body and inner cone are constructed fromsheet steel, stove enamelled white. The outer body isfitted with a gasket to form an airtight seal with themounting ring.

SizesThe Model KSU is manufactured in five sizes, 100, 125,150, 160, 200mm (external diameter of mounting ring).

The Model KU Exhaust Valve is suitable for use with alltypes of ventilating systems and offers an alternative lowcost valve where noise level, although important, is notcritical. Complete with mounting ring.

Adjustment of the airflow is simple, the inner conebeing rotated to the required setting and locked inposition with a single nut. Each air valve is suppliedcomplete with a mounting ring from which it can besimply removed for cleaning without affecting the settingof the valve.

DescriptionThe Lindab range of spiral duct grilles have beendesigned for fitting directly to circular ducts without theneed for a special take-off.

For supply grilles the angled hit and miss slidingdamper acts as an air turn as well as a damper.

ConstructionRGS grilles are manufactured from hot galvanized steelplate and are assempbled without welding. This meansthat the grille can be used without further surfacetreatment and the exterior of the grille matches thesurface of the siral duct onto which it is mounted.
