How do dogs cool themselves off?

It’s important to understand that dogs do not cool themselves like their human companions.

Unlike us, dogs can only sweat through the pads of their feet.

If your dog is out in a hot backyard with a lack of shade or in a car, his body cannot efficiently cool off, which could result in heatstroke.
