Mucuna pruriens: Used for centuries to promote memory and brain health, it is known for its high levels of L-DOPA, an essential compound in human metabolism. It also contains trace amounts of oxitriptan (5 HTP), serotonin, nicotine and bufotenine.

DHA Powder: An omega 3 fatty acid important for the proper cognitive function of the brain, cerebral cortex, skin and retina. Our DHA is from a prime vegetarian source. Studies have shown that DHA in the diet improves learning ability, whereas defi ciencies of DHA are associated with defi cits in learning. DHA is taken up by the brain in preference to other fatty acids.

Nutritional Information and Therapeutic PropertiesBacopa monnieri: Enhances memory, learning and concentration. Contains the alkaloids brahmine and herpestine, the sapponins d-mannitol and hersaponin, acid A, monnierin, betulic acid, stigmastarol,beta-sitosterol and various bacosides and fl avonoids including apigenin and luteolin. A 12 week clinical study on a group of people over the age of 55 using a daily dosage of Bacopa monnieri demonstrated an improvement in memory performance.1

Licorice Extract: has been appreciated in the traditional Chinese system of medicine for thousands of years and is referred to as “the peacemaker” herb. Licorice helps promote a healthy brain and digestive system.

Licorice off ers a wide range of benefi cial nutrients and fl avonoids. It is a good source of vitamin B1 (thiamine), B2 (ribofl avin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid) and vitamin E (tocopherol). It also provides minerals such as phosphorous, calcium, choline, iron, magnesium, potassium, selenium, silicon and zinc. It is a storehouse of essential phytonutrients, including beta-carotene, glabridin, isoliquiritigenin, thymol, phenol, ferulic acid and quercitin.
