At Lullabies Day Nursery, we provide a welcoming, caring and friendly service. Our focus is to ensure that all of our children get the best possible start in life. We are committed to helping your child grow and learn through early play experiences and our staff feel privileged to provide a happy, homely and secure environment for them to do so.

Choosing a nursery can be a hard decision which is why we have a strong belief that we can work most efficiently, meeting the needs of children, parents and our team by listening to what they have to say about the nursery. You are significant in our method of working with and caring for your children, from the settling process and through each stage of transition.

Children who see warm and authentic interactions between a parent and the adult caring for them, they understand that adult can be trusted and relied on for comfort and as a play partner.

We will provide many opportunities for us to hear your feedback and use it to help us improve on our childcare, from the very beginning, throughout your child’s journey with us. Our ultimate aim is for them to leave confident, content and well prepared to start a new journey at school.

Welcome To

Lullabies Day Nursery

We respect that all children are different when they come to our nursery with unique experience of family, friends and their world. Our Approach

We introduce the children to a wide range of activities, stimulating their natural interest to learn facts and to acquire new skills. We encourage the children in our care to be active and to choose equipment that interests them.

We have a range of different sections with a multitude of activities and resources from books to computers, puzzles to paintings and even science to sand. We are proud to maintain our own garden vegetable patch where the children can grow their own vegetables to learn about food and healthy living.

The equipment has been carefully chosen to aid development in specific areas, we pride ourselves in supporting children in their concentration, co-ordination, hand dexterity but most of all learning social skills for life that encourage independence, communications all through play.

Quality Childcare

At Lullabies Day Nursery we believe learning should be fun and provide a holistic approach of developing each child; physically, mentally and socially. During their formative years, it is important to help them develop social skills and confidence to enable them to grow and flourish.

In the time that your child attends our setting it is crucial for their developmental years, so it is important that they are given the highest quality of extensive childcare to ensure lasting benefits throughout their lifetime.

The children have plenty of opportunity to develop their creative, imaginative and investigative skills. We encourage children to take part in projects which include arts and craft tasks, and opportunities to investigate aspects related to their interests and home life. We like to ensure that we listen to each child’s individual needs and when possible, encourage parents, carers and visitors to come in to the nursery and talk about subjects such as occupations and cultural backgrounds.

Your child is an individual with unique emotional and learning needs. We believe it is essential to maintain close parental communication in order to monitor and streamline our care with yours. We believe that these are the key elements that ensure all our children are happy and content.

Healthy Living

The sharing of refreshments plays an important part in the social development of children, as well as re-enforcing understanding of the importance of healthy eating.

At the Nursery, we encourage all children to eat together, as this helps to develop social skills, simple table manners, good eating habits and independence. Members of staff enjoy lunch with the children encouraging good table manners and good eating habits, by being a good role model. Children are also encouraged to be self–sufficient where possible and we provide appropriate sized cutlery and crockery to help them in this.

Seasonal Menus

The meals we provide are freshly prepared by

a team of dedicated chefs who plan a seasonal menu.

Varied Diet

We aim to provide a varied diet, giving the

children opportunities to try a wide variety of different food including home grown, and multi-cultural produce.

Whole Foods

All menus are carefullythought out and we

avoid large quantities of fat, sugar, salt, additives,

preservatives and colouring.

Milk & Water

Full fat cows milk is provided at snack

time and drinking water is always available.

Healthy Snacks

Snacks are healthy and include things such as
