NEEDThe Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality estimates it can take more than two decades to translate research into practice. Nurses must be able to assess and implement improved patient care strategies in advance of published standards. As new trends emerge, nurses play a key role facilitating practice changes as well as transforming practice environments. Exposure to new ideas, practices, and programs must become part of our norm as the world around us is changing rapidly.

GOALThis symposium is designed to increase your critical thinking and knowledge of emerging trends and concepts in nursing. From boardroom to bedside, the content shared at this event will inform and transform your knowledge of current trends and issues in health care while providing operational and strategic insight in approaching contemporary nursing topics. Sessions will resonate with nurses at all levels working in health care organizations. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions as well as speak one-on-one with presenters during refreshment breaks and lunch.

TARGET AUDIENCEEvery nurse will find content that energizes, informs, and challenges their thinking. Multiple breakout sessions will offer new learning for all nurses who attend.
