Why Us
Thankam led a vibrant role in her career of 32 Years starting from bedside in India and abroad to being the group nursing head of Fortis Healthcare Limited. She was a core member of the commissioning of first Fortis Hospital. She has spearheaded in setting nursing standards and quality assurance in Fortis. She is recognized as a skillful orator and invited in nursing conferences nationally and internationally. She has a keen interest in research and evidenced based practices. Thankam as Head of Education at Berkeley Health EDU has worked with medical and nursing colleges to collaborate and include simulation based learning during the formative years of doctors and nurses. She is dedicated to developing nurse leaders as she strongly advocates that nurse leaders need to become nurse centric so as to nurture young nurses to become patient centric and develop into influential leaders of tomorrow. Thankam is the co-chair of the task force for nursing reforms of FICCI and is frequently invited to special groups formed by government and Delhi Nursing Council as a subject matter expert. She collaborates closely with national and international simulation experts to conduct High Fidelity Simulation Training Programs for doctors and nurses. She is a founder member of Infusion Nurses Society-India, member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Organization of Nurse Executives and a life time associate member of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. She has undergone special training in simulation and debriefing from Jurong Health, Singapore, and further honed her skills to be a trainer under Dale Carnegie’s TTT Program. She is also an American Heart Association’s certified BLS/ACLS/ACLS Experienced Provider Instructor. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She is a graduate of UCOL, Newzealand.

Worked in India as CEO in Healthcare, running a Fortis Hospital, setting up operations for Berkeley HealthEDU, a healthcare training & skilling organisation, EMRI’s Emergency Response operations in Karnataka and VARDAN (a Times Group initiative) with high end Physio-Therapy Centres. He leads the team across verticals in AHS, with a focus on Strategy, Management, Marketing, P&L and Processes.
Vikaas Chhabra : A veteran in every spectrum of business development and marketing of Healthcare with 17+ years of rich experience across all Regions of India & international markets in Africa. He has been instrumental in devising cutting edge marketing and business development plans in various leading organizations like Cipla, Max Healthcare, Fortis Healthcare and Paras Hospitals. Lately he has handled Marketing and Branding mandates across hospitals, diagnostics and super specialty clinics in Central India, Punjab and NCR, including Chains and Start-ups.
We created a customized behavioral skills program for doctors, nurses and other staff 1000 bedded hospital and delivered a 5 days Train the Trainer for a batch of 19 staff including 9 consultants. We further assisted their team in transferring behaviors to work place….
We are engaged with a group of hospitals which has 900 beds in mentoring their nurse leaders and educators over period of 12 months. On ground changes are being brought about through measurable metrics, data capture tools and dashboards. The best practices of nursing administration is being documented in a manual and monitoring mechanisms are in place through above mentioned tools
We have assisted a 750 bedded hospital overseas in preparing the nursing team for commissioning the hospital. The 9 day Nurse Induction Program was created and the hospital educator trained for the same. The deck of presentations, videos, tests, answer keys, procedural check lists and training results capture sheet were all handed over to the hospital team.
We have trained over 75 nurse in-charges and supervisors across India for managerial and leadership skills that resulted in quality improvement projects
