This presentation was created for the 2012 Canadian Nursing Students' Association Ontario Regional Conference. Since many students currently in nursing school had a Facebook account before they learned about what professional practice means it is critical to have discussions about the implications of digital tools in a regulated health profession. There are many opportunities, as well as risks, and ensuring that students learn to benefit themselves and their clients through there use of these tools is every nursing educator and leaders responsibility.TRANSCRIPT
