INSTRUCTIONSFollow these easy and fun stepsto bind your child’s booklet...

Print this e-bookPrint page 2 - 6 of this e-book on your printer.Most pages contain color images, but the pagescan also be printed in normal greyscale if yourprinter does not support color.

OK, so you’ve printed the pages. Keep the oneyou’re reading now (e-book page 2) handy forthe instructions below, and start on e-bookpages 3 - 6 which contain your booklet.

Paste the other pages togetherE-book pages 4, 5, & 6: Paste the two blanksides together after running paper glue alongthe inner edges of the dashed line (you shouldbe able to see the dashed line through thepaper). For best results the glue should touchthe line or go slightly across it.

Fold all the pagesFold each page in turn along the solid middle-line, keeping the printed area outside. Theprinted areas in the dash-lined block will lineup on both sides.

Paste the Cover page together

E-book page 3 containing the Cover: Pastethe two blank sides together after runningpaper glue along the inside of the dashed line(you should be able to see the line through thepaper). For best results the glue should touchthe line or go slightly outside it.

TIP: For a really strong cover,apply your glue to the whole areainside, and touching the dashedlines on both blank halves; thenslip a thicker paper or boardbetween the two sides beforeglueing them firmly together.

Staple your bookletRun a staple through the stack from the outsidealong the spine.

TIP: If your stapler is too shortto reach the spine, open it flat andput your booklet (open and withthe middle pages down) on a softsurface like a carpet beforerunning the staple through. Thenclose the staple on the inside.

Fold your bookletFirst stack your pages as follows: Bottom:page no 10+7; then 12+5, then 14+3 andfinally the cover on top.

Knock the stack together to align you booklet’spages, then fold them together once (cover onthe outside) to form the spine of the booklet.

TIP: If you used board for yourcover, it is best to fold the coverseparately to form a smoothspine.

Cut them all outAll pages: Cut out the resulting double-pagesof your booklet just inside the dashed line.Checking both sides, trim off any visibleremnants of the dashed line.
