The CIMA Advantage:The technological delivery system is able to treat more area of canopy with less water. The simple transmission requires less maintenance and the fan absorbs less horsepower than conventional air-blast sprayers. All CIMA’s can be fitted with a custom spray-head to target the treatment into the canopy with minimal over-spray.

LOW VOLUME AIR SPRAYERSLOW VOLUME AIR SPRAYERS

All CIMA spray heads can be easily adjusted to direct the spray into the crop with minimal overspray. Each spray outlet uses a venturi (no nozzle tips with air shear nozzle) to produce consistently fine 100-150u size droplets (no tips). Calibration only takes seconds since each spray head uses the CIMA quick change 15 position “dial-a-rate” calibration disc.

The Low Volume Venturi style sprayer makes droplets in the 100-150u Range. A high-pressure sprayer commonly makes droplets in the 250-400u range. Since droplets are three dimensional, when you break down a large droplet it has 8x smaller droplets inside of that large droplet, therefore you will have many available for better coverage. This type of spray method also allows you not to have to spray to a drip unlike typical high-pressure sprayers. The venturi style delivery system coats all surfaces of the canopy with air speeds around 170-200 mph. Achieving a better quality of coverage, and yielding a cleaner crop.

CIMA’s featured ergonomic design makes it possible to use smaller versatile tractor. Choice of several target heads to treat any canopy. All models are standard with internal mixing basket and a safety fresh water tank. Calibration is easy and quick with CIMA’s “Dial-a-rate” along with target control head, and air shear delivery system you will use minimal active chemical to achieve great coverage.

BDi Small Acre Sprayer

BDi’s P35 is just the right size for the small acres, or start up growers. The Cifarelli blower produces 200 MPH air flow, with droplets range from 100-150 microns in size. Perfect for disease and insect control at low GPA rates. The CIMA fan-tail spray head is ideal for close dense crops, with an adjustable up/down to best target different crop heights. The 30-gallon tank is just the right size to cover about one acre per fill up. The 12V pump supplies liquid to the spray head and agitates the mixture in the tank. On/off controls are mounted near the operator. The frame is multi-use, with 3PT to attach to a small tractor, a base/skid can sit on the back of a gator or golf cart, or the optional wheel kit bolts on.

S Tine Shallow Cultivator The Vigneto spring tine “S” cultivator has a lot of action and is recommended for shallow cultivation in a nice soil. But not all “S” tine cultivators are equal. The Vigneto is standard with a dual upper spring support at the mount. The result is less breakage of the tines. Tines are standard with reversible points, sweeps are available by request.

EL Inter Plant Cultivator

Tractor 3 Pt. PTO gear drive of the working tool and the hydraulic pump which in turn controls the touch bar. The counter rotating vertical tines ensure optimum cultivating while keeping the soil level and not cause hardpan. Ideal for stony conditions and can handle tall weeds.

Hydraulic tilt standard. Requires 20” between vines, trees, posts, etc. and 12-14” below first wire. Standard with manual retracting override; hydraulicand electro-hydraulic retracting override are optional.

Deep Spade Tillage

Spaders are the preferred tool for initial deep tillage and cultivation while doing the least soil structure damage. The working motion does not beat or mix soil layers and will fracture the plow pan. Cover crop is pushed downwards throughout the soil profile and the soil is broken by being forced backwards against raked tailgate. Can be used in wet soil conditions, backwards spade motion pushes the tractor forward preventing any tractor problem in wet soil.

Power Harrows

The POWER HARROWS are the preferred tillage tool to work the soil shallow or deeply without turning layers of soil -- topsoil stays on top. The machine can also be set for shallow cultivation. Rotor heads are inter-linked and gear driven for long life and a consistent work quality. The vertical tines counter rotate and reduce clods to a small size. An optional rear mesh roller controls depth and leaves a fine seedbed ready for seeding. Used in conjunction with spaders these tools can do all your mechanical tillage and soil cultivation in a manner that best preserves your soil life and structure. Maintenance is quick and simple. Surface rocks are less of a problem for a power harrow than they are for a tiller.

Stone and Sod Burier

The SA and SB tillage machines are designed for working in stony soils and for preparing sowed middles for replanting. Basically, this tillage machine does primary secondary and finish tillage in one pass. This is possible by the reverse rotation of a standard tiller that picks up stones and/or sod clumps and deposits them at the bottom of the furrow while leaving the fine soil on top as the mesh cage roller firms the finish seed bed. To renovate vineyard middles, choose the optional seed box to complete the final task of replanting the cover crop before the mesh caged roller firms the new seed bed. Your row middles will have a finished look and the level rows will make it easier for traveling during regular operations.
