Seniors WEEK Seniors Week at Day Centre CLIENTS of the Cootamundra Meals on Wheels service came together with residents of the RL Holmes Day Centre on Thursday to celebrate Seniors week. Members of the two communi- ty groups played a series of games in the morning before hav- ing lunch together and then lis- tening to the musical stylings of Alex Winnell. It is not the first time they have spent time with one another with a similar get together held last year. There are also plans for the groups to get together later on this year. Tecnology savvy at Coota library EXCELLENT for local seniors is the variety of courses coming up at the Cootamundra Library. If technology is getting away from you and you want to keep up with what your kids and grandkids use everyday consider the variety of courses. ‘Mastering your smart phone’ will take place on Wednesday, March 19 at 2.30pm. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1.30pm until 2.30pm the library has introduced ‘Facebook for begin- ners’. Individual tutorials are available. Total iPad beginners can learn to use their gadget on Tuesday, June 3, 10, 17 and 24 between 2pm and 3pm. For more proficient iPad users looking to get more out of their tablet consider the more advanced course running on Thursday 6, 13, 20 and 27 between 2pm and 3pm.
