Seniors Week at Day CentreCLIENTS of the Cootamundra

Meals on Wheels service cametogether with residents of the RLHolmes Day Centre on Thursdayto celebrate Seniors week.

Members of the two communi-ty groups played a series ofgames in the morning before hav-ing lunch together and then lis-

tening to the musical stylings ofAlex Winnell.

It is not the first time they havespent time with one another witha similar get together held lastyear.

There are also plans for thegroups to get together later onthis year.

Tecnology savvy at Coota library EXCELLENT for local seniors is

the variety of courses coming up atthe Cootamundra Library.

If technology is getting away fromyou and you want to keep up withwhat your kids and grandkids useeveryday consider the variety ofcourses.

‘Mastering your smart phone’ willtake place on Wednesday, March 19at 2.30pm.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdaysfrom 1.30pm until 2.30pm the libraryhas introduced ‘Facebook for begin-ners’. Individual tutorials are available.

Total iPad beginners can learn touse their gadget on Tuesday, June 3,10, 17 and 24 between 2pm and 3pm.

For more proficient iPad userslooking to get more out of their tabletconsider the more advanced courserunning on Thursday 6, 13, 20 and 27between 2pm and 3pm.
