We have extended our construction hours for works on the new hospital building. This is for safety inspection and plant set-up only. Noise and truck movements will continue to be kept to a minimum, particularly in the early morning and early evening. We apologise for any disruption. Thank you for your patience as we continue work on the new hospital building.

A staged refurbishment to

the lifts in Westmead

Increased truck movements along Hawkesbury

Road at entry to construction site plus increasing

road widening works along Hawkesbury Road.

Ongoing work near the

endoscopy unit. There

will be intermittent

noisy work.

Ongoing works to

linkway thoroughfare in

preparation for staged

switchover works.

Intermittent traffic control

in place on Research Road.

Upgrades to the loading dock from April to

September 2019 will ensure a safer, more efficient

zone to service the adults’ hospital and cater for

the new Central Acute Services Building (CASB).

Internal and external E Block façade

investigation works for future CASB

linkbridge breakthroughs with traffic

controllers in place for pedestrians.

Redbank Road closed between the Brain Injury

Unit and the Westmead Hospital loading dock
