5TH ANNUAL CLIFF FLOYD FOUNDATION
CELEBRITY CHARITY BOWLING TOURAMENT
NSU MBA GRADUATE, PRISCILLA SUERO, SERVES AS NEW CHIAR
PLANNING COMMITTEE’S WORK IS UNDERWAY
Priscilla Suero has impressive operational and ad-ministrative experience in healthcare, nonprofit, aca-demic and for-profit worlds.
Currently, Priscilla is the program administration coordi-nator for the Community and National Initiatives Pro-gram at Knight Foundation, where she works to imple-ment the vision and strategy. She is responsible for ad-ministration of budgets, grant-making compliance and talent management.
Priscilla was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is an avid sports enthusiast; boxing is her favorite sport, and she welcomes discussions about the latest matches.
Priscilla earned her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in sports revenue generation from Nova Southeastern University, where she was a Hora-tio Alger Huizenga Business Scholar.
It may be hard to top last year’s net of $30,000 but this year’s committee is up for the chal-
lenge. After 4 years as serving as the tournament’s chair, Professor Olson decided to recruit
one of her former graduate students to fill that position. Fortunately Priscilla Suero accepted
the assignment. Professor Olson is still a member of the committee along with the following:
Cameron Churhill, Steven Fleming, Candice Johnson, Patrick Lillis, Kyle Kilbourne, Craig Mish,
Alex Tabeek, Cameron Wylie and of course, Cliff Floyd! In addition, the committee is receiving
support from Dr. Fountain, Dr. Finley and our new adjuncts Kelly Britten and Sean Todd. The
Facility and Event along with the Fundraising classes will be involved. It takes a team effort to
put this great event all together. So SAVE THE DATE. The tournament is Sunday, April 23rd,
1:00—4:00 PM at SpareZ in Davie.

The Panthers networking event was held before their game on
January 26th. BSSA members were able to listen to a panel of
executives speak about their contributions to the sports indus-
try. They then had an opportunity to network with them and
many other attendees. Afterwards, they enjoyed a Panthers
overtime win. Pictured above are Jason Swafford, Alex Ta-
beek, Jodice Woody and Jeffrey Paszternak.

he helped with the set-up for many high school graduations. Since then he has turned
the opportunity into an internship for credit. Professor Olson visited him on a site visit
after the National Girls and Women Sports Day luncheon. He and the Arena staff start-
ed breaking down that event and were getting ready for one of the many Shark Preview
