The Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange (CSRDE) hosted the 15 th annual National Symposium on Student Retention in New Orleans on October 28-31, 2019. A diverse group of higher education professionals from academic affairs and student affairs attended. At the end of the conference, participants were asked “What one book or article is your ‘go-to’ reference for guiding your student success efforts?” We received more than 50 responses to this question and are pleased to share the results with you. A few of the responses provided a general reference rather than a specific title. We have added those responses at the end of the Reference list.
