NRTIs launched in IndiaThree nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase

inhibitors (NRTIs) have been launched by Zydus Cadilain India for the treatment of patients with HIV infection,reports Scrip.

The NRTIs are lamivudine [‘Ladiwin’]; zidovudine[‘Zydowin’]; and lamivudine/zidovudine [‘Lamuzid’].Zidovudine will be priced at Re10 per 100mg capsuleand Re23 per 300mg tablet and lamivudine will bepriced at Re38 per tablet. ‘Lamuzid’ consists oflamivudine/zidovudine 150mg/300mg per tablet andwill be priced at Re55 per tablet.Zydus Cadila launches HIV drugs.
