A further model of the patented JACOB earthing bridge is now also available.This innovation is the JACOB "Universal Earthing Bridge". With its EPDM conductive contact caps, the added benefits it brings particularly come to bearwhen used in combination with our powder-coated pipework system. By simplyscrewing it on to the JACOB pull-ring, it couldn't be easier to fit. After removingthe securing splint pin, the contact caps rest firmly on the pipework surface.Electrostatic potential equalisation is now incredibly easy. It requires no weldingor sanding of the contact surfaces at all. It can also be used for retrofitting toexisting pipe systems. Used with our pull-ring, the earthing bridge is firmly seated and vibration-proof. This ORIGINAL JACOB quality is DEKRA EXAM certi-fied. Our powder-coated pipework system is supplied at no extra charge in ourRAL 7032 pebble grey JACOB quality standard colour with electrically dissipati-ve coating.

Strong in standard and customised solutions.JACOB PIPEWORK SYSTEMS is well estab -lished in the market. Our main cata logue presents our extensive range of standardsolutions for our customers to peruse. Thesesolutions range from the smallest diameter of DN 60 mm right up to a dia meter of DN 800 mm. This wide spectrum of diametersallows us to cater for an exten sive range ofmarket requirements with our tried and trusted standard quality. The advantageswhich our modular system technology provi-des for our customers are mainly due, of course, to our standardised own developedtool manufacture. Our customers appreciatethe reliable precision quality of our standardoriginal JACOB solutions. A further advantageis that diameters of up DN 400 mm can normally be delivered quickly and directly ex warehouse. Our product expertise asdisplayed in our main catalogue does not stopthere, however. Our standard components aswell as our extensive range of customisedsolutions provide the basic building blocks forour expertise. If you require an even largermodular pipework system with a diameter ofover 800 mm, this is no problem for us at all.Diameters of up to DN 2000 mm can be supplied as customised solutions. We are constantly endeavouring to underpin ourposition as experts at the forefront of modu-lar standard solutions by adding innovativecustomised product models. The wide range of additio-nal wear protection and non-stick protec-tion systems can be seen from pipes and fittings exhibiting different linings. The newJACOB "Hygiene Distributor" is designedfor customers who need to respond to frequent cleaning requirements and there-fore need to quickly and easily remove andreplace the internal components of thedistributor without removing the distributorfrom the pipework. The JACOB range of earthing bridges makes electrostatic poten-tial equalisation of pipework incredibly

easy. It is a cost-saving substitute for theconventional earthing cable.As a practical aid, the new version 2.1 ofthe JACOB PIPEWORK 3-D service is avai -

lable for test purposes. This allows custo-mers to incorporate our pipework systemcomponents quickly and effortlessly intotheir engineering drawings.

Whether for grain,recycled granulate, silica sand or other particularly abrasive bulk goods, or for theextraction of air containing extremely abra-sive particles – we can provide you with theoptimal abrasion protection lining foryour pipe system.A variety of lining materials and thick -nesses is available to meet customers‘requirements. We primarily use proven PUbrand-name linings in thicknesses of 2-8 mm. They are applied to the inside of

pipes to maximise the service life in appli-cations with a particularly abrasive productflow. In line with specific application requi-rements, they are also suitable for food use.If your abrasion problems occur only partially at certain deflection areas(bends/segments) why not take advantageof the cost benefits provided by the varia -bility of the JACOB modular system. All oursystem components fit together easily toform a tight fit. We parti-cularly recommend brand-name non-stick coatings DPL and PTFE, abrasion-resistant coatings based on PTFE and PFA.Unlike DPL, PTFE is an electrically conduc -tive non-stick coating. An example for anapplication for a non-stick coating is coffeepowder with a high oil content, which isparticularly tough-flowing.Choose from our wide range of wear protection or non-stick protection systemsto ensure the optimal lining for your parti-cular type of use.

Hygiene distributor new to the rangeInnovative product variant with constructional precision engineeringThe new JACOB "Hygiene Distributor" is designed for customers who need to respond to frequent cleaning requirements andtherefore need to quickly and easily remove and replace the internal components of the distributor. This is possible with this inno-vative development even when the distributor is installed in the pipe system. No tools whatsoever are required to safely and easi-ly remove and replace the complete shaft and flap. This added benefit can be of great advantage in a variety of industries, such as the food and chemicals industries as well as in allapplications with stringent hygiene requirements. We will initially be offering this new JACOB development in the standard com-mercial diameters of DN 120, 150 and 200 mm. Other larger diameters are also available on request. You have the choice bet-ween stainless steel versions and our electrically conductive and food grade/FDA approved standard powder coating.
