A message To our members
SENIOR REGENT’S MESSAGE
Hi, this is your Senior Regent.
Here we are in November. Christ-
mas is right ahead.
The Barn Dinner/Dance turn out was great. The
memorial for Cindy Fortna was well attended. Hal-
loween Dinner/Dance and the Kids party was great!
All of this in October, wow!
November is going to be busy too. On Sundays No-
vember 2nd; 9th; and 16th we will be having bake
sales. Loaf breads and coffee cakes. Call me at 673-
1846 if you would like to be a part of this and bring
something. Thank you. As we get close to the holi-
days we can use this when family and friends drop
by. Also in December we have a bake sale, candies
and all kinds of good things. But I’m getting ahead
of myself.
November 1st is our Fashion Show from 12:00 to
3:00. On November 9th at 2:00 we are having a Red
Stole ceremony. All women and men are welcome.
Come out to honor Sally Despain and Shirley Hicks.
Also our new collegian Janie Hood. Potluck to fol-
low.
Craft Fair is on November 29th. Also there is a Din-
ner/Dance on November 22nd. So you see there is a
lot going on in November. So come out and be a
part of it all. If you would like to help on any of
these functions please let us know.
If any Co-worker is interested in running for an of-
fice, submit your letter of intent to the WOTM of-
fice. Our first meeting is in January.
We welcome our new Junior Regent Debbie Phil-
lips.
Moosette for November is all our College of Re-
gents. Thank you so much for all your help and
hard work.
Remember always its about the Kids and Seniors
and Community.
Have a blessed day.
Bobby Olivar Senior Regent
GOVERNOR’S MESSAGE
Well here it is November and you know
what that means, the holidays are quickly
approaching. There are lots of activities
planned for this month. Please post this
month’s calendar so that you don’t miss anything. Some activi-
ties I will talk about during this message. If I forget to mention
an event I apologize. That’s why we put a calendar in the
Moose Call. I would like to encourage everyone to attend the
Fellowship Awards D/D on November 8th, this is to honor our
three newest Fellows: Dave Benner, Russ Cote, and Shawn
Delong. What an honor it is to receive three Fellows in one
year. CONGRATS MEN! Next is the Dining Extravaganza on
November 6th. This is a full menu dinner put on by Larry Sa-
lem and Bill Thompson. WOTM has their Annual Fashion
Show on November 1st and the Craft Show will be on Novem-
ber 29th.
On November 3rd will be our Membership Appreciation Dinner.
All active members can come in and enjoy a free spaghetti din-
ner. It’s our way of saying “Thank You” for being members in
this great fraternity. If your dues are not paid up we will have a
laptop or two available so that you can pay your dues online.
All you need is a credit card or your ATM/Debit Card. This
event will be from 5:30-7:00 PM. Then on November 11th, we
will celebrate Veteran’s Day with another free spaghetti dinner.
We will also have a couple of guest speakers and a flag folding
ceremony put on by VFW. This event will start at 5 PM.
Please come down and help honor our veterans.
November 27th will be our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner from 1
-4 PM. The price is $5.00 per person, so if you don’t feel like
cooking this will be the place to go and bring your family.
James Pedigo and his crew do an awesome job! If you are in-
terested in helping decorate for Christmas, we will start this task
on November 30th. There will be a sign up sheet on the WOTM
bulletin board. During the month we will be collecting canned
foods and jackets for the area’s homeless. Children and adults
jackets for this benefit will be accepted.
Looking back at October, all of our events were successful.
Everybody worked together and all of those that attended had a
good time. Special “Thank You” to the WOTM for Men’s Ap-
preciation Night, we had a great time and great food!
My Super Moose of the month is James Pedigo. He has helped
out this year when ever needed and I appreciate his hard work!
Thanks again James!
I am leaving you with a sad note. Our previous Moose Call
Editor, Rosetta Kilgore passed away on October 13th. She will
be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Till Next Month,
Travis O’Neal
Governor

From the Administrator’s Desk:
Let me introduce myself. I’m Ken Jordan, elected Treasurer of the lodge. As we have no Administrator, according to the bylaws, the Treasurer take over the duties. The duties of the Administrator seems like your Chief, Cook, Dishwasher, Janitor and all around good guy to all members. This month is filled with Food, Fun, and Entertainment. Food we have Dinner Ex-travaganza, Men’s Fellowship dinner, Women’s Fall dinner dance and don’t forget the Thanksgiving dinner, not to leave out our regular weekly menu. Fun, Lorrie Cote’ is hosting a Craft Show and the Women are putting on a Fashion Show for the ladies and their guests. Entertainment, we have Kar-aoke, Line Dancing, Cards, Darts on Friday and Bingo on the first and third Friday night. Please plan to attend one or several functions. Check the moose call for times and dates. With the floors completed, we are now concentrating on the roof before winter sets in. I have con-tacted PG&E sub-contractor for energy reduction and they are changing out our outdated lighting with new LED Fixtures. If all goes well PG&E might have a program to replace our florescent lighting with LED lamps cutting our wattage consumption almost in half, won’t that be great!! We have a wonderful group for members from all walks of life, each one with special ideas and skills; we only need to tap their expertise to accomplish new things around the lodge to enhance the surroundings. If you have an idea that might make our lodge home more functional let us know. This does not mean you do the work. We can find ways of getting it done through volunteer-ism. Thanks for now, Ken Jordan

Success! We have two stainless steel kitchen sinks and we have procured the fresh water tank and the grey water holding tank thanks to Ruben and C & F Towing. We
now have trailer lights as well. We are having a hard time finding the right 6 bolt Chevy rims with a 3.5 inch center hole. We have options but the least expensive is finding the 15 inch rims. We still need propane tanks so if anyone can help it would be appreciated. We will also need a large stainless steel sink and table to finish up
the prep and clean up area.
Ideas, suggestions, and donations are always appreciated.

DIRTY GIRLS say THANKS to MR. WONDERFUL When anyone would ask Chuck Gonder how he was doing he would always reply, "I'm Wonderful!" Actually, he had painful chronic health issues but he only saw the good in everything and everyone. Chuck worked tire-lessly in the Moose gardens. He weeded, installed watering sys-tems, planted and pruned roses, picked up pine needles and tended the memorial garden. Hr was on the Pirates breakfast crew, the Dirty Girls cooking crew and the Hogs dinner crew. He was recognized many times as the Volunteer Moose of the Month. He loved being a coach for the Special Olympics Athletes. His huge smile and upbeat attitude spread the feeling that Life is Good. Thanks Chuckles, we miss you. Thank you to Cindy Fortna's family for the many new plants and yard decorations. Her sons, Steven and Mark planted two Double Pink Knockout rose bushes in the front. They will be beauti-ful. Thanks guys, your Mom would appreciate all you have done. Dirty Girls welcome our newest member, Vivian Koberlein. She is tireless in her efforts for the memorial garden. We sure appreciate new members
getting involved right away!

CAMPING CLUB REPORT
We just returned from a great camping trip on the Yuba River off of Hwy 49. Great weather, awesome food and su-
perb camaraderie! This was our last trip for the year for our Moose Camping Club and what a fun year it was! From
the scenic beauty of the coast to awesome lakes and rivers along with great fishing, way to much food, and really good
company. Send in your ideas for where we should head next year. We start up again in March after the snowbirds
return and the weather warms up.
