To discuss and analyse the contributions of the archives in the development of public
awareness and the promotion of the implementation and protection of human rights,
which include respect for the cultural identity, founded on the memory of the world, of
each people.
To analyse and share experiences regarding the technological applications of information
technology in the evolution of archival information systems by underlining the importance
of digitisation processes in the design of forms of documentary preservation, protection
and dissemination.
