Yvonne Chin No. 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon Station, Hong Kong [email protected] Soul Mates Soul Food Thai 26-30 Elgin Street, Soho This November, Soul Food Thai celebrates its first anniversary with a “Soul Mates” dinner series on November 8th and 9th with chef-founder of Soul Food, Jarrett Wrisley, and legendary Thai chef David Thompson. They’re collaborating on a three-course menu showcasing the best of Bangkok cuisine. The menu starts with a selection of traditional small bites such as rich Smoked Chiangmai sausage mieng with burnt cabbage, green chilli relish, quail egg and fried peanuts and Slowly grilled squid with Thai aromatics, roasted over wood. Mains include Tum saap, a rustic duck soup with galangal, lemongrass and tamarind leaves, and crispy tofu stuffed with swimmer crab and ground pork. For dessert, a warm soup of coconut, sapodilla and bananas grilled with red turmeric. INFO On November 8th + 9th, you can snag a seat while the chefs are in town. If you’re busy those days, don’t worry, the menu will run until the 12th. Pricing: $488+10% service charge per person, and advanced booking required. BALLS G/F, No 5 Star Street Central Pirata’s got balls! Seriously, they’re bringing you the best balls in town. The boys from Pirata are each bringing you their balls in their own unique way. Good old MEATSballs by Chef Paddy McDermott will be made up of shredded rotisserie chicken, blue cheese, and jalapeno relish. Stefano’s Big Sub by Stefano II Piemunt Rossi has got Italian sausage, fontina cheese, and his balls on a sub. Ste Palle! by Chef Andrea Viglione will have beef and pork balls served with tagliatelle and arrabiata sauce. Chef Alfredo has fish balls with squid, prawn, seafood sauce over rice pilaf. Chef Matthew Hosker presents Free Balling. Their meat free falafel balls are served with hummus, and mint yoghurt on a pita bread. INFO Popping up for 100 days only, the Balls pop up is launching on November 1st to February 8th. Tuesday to Sunday, available for all day dining and take away, Balls will be a no reservations, no service charge restaurant.

This Japanese inspired venue (named after one of Sutton’s favorite movies) will be located in a former favorite--Boujis--and will be here with incredible drinks, music and instagram worthy vibes. The best part? It opens from 6PM to 5AM, so feel free to go any time.INFO
