SMELL: An additive called mercaptan is used to give natural gas its distinct sulfur- or rotten-egg-like odor. This pungent smell is a warning sign of a possible leak. MIRE: Si está cerca de una tubería de gas natural y ve parches devegetación inexplicablemente secos o muertos, polvo o aguaflotando en el aire, o un continuo burbujeo de agua depositada,esto podría ser una señal de una posible fuga de gas natural.
